Is anyone else have a problem with the volume control stops working, this is something completely new that started today, the only way it works after this happens is by turning the radio completely off and back on ,it works for a little bit and it stops agin.

I had that problem. My radio just stopped working all together. No sound at all. Dealer replaced the factory amp and that fixed it. They also checked all of the wires in the wiring harness for the radio and it was fine. I have had no problems since with the radio.

Happened in mine too. But hasn’t happened in a couple weeks.

Every now and then my shortcuts from the AndroidAuto screen stop working but fix themselves whenever restarting the truck. I've had the volume not work once, but again, restarted the truck and it was fine.

When you say completely off do you mean hitting the power button or holding the radio volume knob down until the radio reboots. Almost all issues with uconnect get fixed with the full reboot and the rest usually fix themselves overnight. Good luck

The wiring harness/components in these trucks is for shit. It’s making me miss my old ‘73 K5 😂

Haha but 100% on missing an old K5... though the 69-72 were always my favorite with the full top that could come off.

Yep - my '73 K5 also had the full top that would come off all the way to the windshield. I built this one in 1985 and mimicked the look of the newer style Blazers that only had the rear part behind the cab come off. If you look a the photo you can see the seams, I just sanded/painted the area over the cab to fool the eye when I had the cap on. Had a roll bar/cage under the cap for a little security when the top was off.

User name checks out

Happens in my 2023 whenever it starts up sometimes. Resetting the radio or turning it on and off usually fixes it

I will try reboot, I have only turned off the radio and turn it back on

Takes around 10 seconds of holding the volume knob down for a reboot. This can be done while driving also
