Just got an email saying my Ram Connect subscription is expiring in the next week to include the navigation pkg. Don't know about ya'll, but not a big loss. I've used the app a few times to remote start but it's easier to do with the fob in my opinion.

Navigation...never used it honestly. I immediately switch over to android auto and use google maps. Why would anybody pay for TomTom?

The real concern is SiriusXM though. Anybody called recently and been given a sweet deal?

They always and I mean always give you a better deal when you ask especially if you call to cancel. We have one subscription for my wife's Sante Cruz and I use the app in carplay don't care about the trial etc. in truck.

My SiriusXM expired a little ago and like always they start calling. Picked up once and it's kind of easy to get $6 a month. I think I even got few emails with similar offer. While talking and negotiating with them was able to get them to $220 for 5 years. I never even used it so wasn't going to get it anyway but just to give you some idea what you can work towards.

I mean for $3.66 a month that my be worth it honestly

The only thing in the app I use is the remote start which is nice when you're inside somewhere out of range of the remote, specifically in the winter.

I may just drop it for the summer months and bring it back each winter.

I got $5 per month for the next year. They kept sending me mail once per week about the offer.

I have seen some folks call in and ask for a 5 yr plan, and got it for 199-249. depends on who you talk to i guess.

When I logged into Ram connect website, I got offered an additional 3 month trials to most of the subscriptions. So I’m good till June I believe. For how much the truck cost I’m surprised we only get a couple months on the house. Could be worse I suppose, I think bmw has a sub for heated seats. So dumb.

The last Ram I bought before the RHO had a 1 year trial. They’ve really cheaped out lately.

On my 2020, I cancelled the Ram Connect subscription immediately. I really just didn’t see any purpose for it, and I didn’t want to forget and get charged at renewal time.

SiriusXM was nice, and I kept the 1yr trial of that. The part I actually used the most was the Pandora stations. When I tried to renew subscriptions I was able to get $5/mo pretty easily but quickly found that didn’t include Pandora stations, which was a higher cost package. I ended up ditching that subscription as well.

I’m looking forward to wireless CarPlay, as I use pandora or amazon pretty much any time j listen to music. Definitely will be nice not to have to plug to USB every time.

I was able to transfer my lifetime xm for 35 bucks.

Lifetime??? do tell...
Had since 2009. Don’t think they offer it anymore. There was a lawsuit and they claimed it was lifetime for the vehicle, somehow somebody won and it’s lifetime for you with a 35 dollar transfer fee.
