Red light traffic alert, sound volume resetting

I don’t have my RHO yes but I wanted to know if anyone else who is having this problem with U-connect five where the navigation red light warning sound gets reset every single time that you drive the car. Whenever I start the car, it auto sets to 15 that blows your eardrums out so when I turn it down to like 12. it’ll go back to 15 The next time I start the car up. It’s my biggest pet peeve with my current truck and Ram didn’t have a fix for it when I sent it in last time so I just wanted to see if anyone else had that issue

I turned that function off completely (45k miles ago) and haven’t had a problem since.

Glad you brought it up. I always use my phone’s navigation.

Last week, I was driving thru town when 3 urgent chimes sounded. I looked at my IP & entertainment screen & saw nothing. I figured it must be some sort of alert that sounded from my phone…missing person, or something.

A block later, 3 more urgent chimes. I’m thinking these must be a warning for something, like my engine oil pressure or flat tire. But no warning messages.

Got to my destination & Googled it. Turns out, the truck’s navigation always runs in the background & it was trying to tell me there is a known red light camera in the area. Wow! Glad I stopped for that yellow light after the 2nd warning chimes. Ha!

Did they really? They had them when I was in college in Dallas. First time I'd ever seen them ( we don't use them in MI).

Glad to hear they're gone. It's bullshit.
