Anyone else using the side mirror reverse setting (where they tilt all the way down to see the curb when going in reverse)? I’m having an issue where the mirrors never seem to go back to the set position.

I always set my mirrors to see the edge of the bed and the top of the passenger door handles. Have to constantly adjust them. Wondering if it’s just mine or not..

Turned mine off because of this

That function drives me nuts. Turned it off in ever vehicle I’ve owned.

I turned it off. With the cameras it just doesn't seem all that necessary

Mine do the same things. They seem to do it gradually, so it takes about a week or so before I have to readjust. Personally, I like the tilt down in reverse. As a Gen X'er, I prefer to rely on "analog' things as opposed to "digital". I do better with the mirrors in most situations. My Grand Cherokee had this feature, but it worked flawlessly.

I'm at the point where I disabled the function for now.

That would be useful if we didn't have 360 degrees surround camera. With that, no need for the reverse mirror angle.

I think the reverse tilt function will be especially useful after lift/taller tires. Just nice to use both the mirror and cameras in unison. Don't have my truck yet but I've always enjoyed that feature otherwise.

Yes!!!!! Same issue here too. I keep thinking I’m slouching because mirror is in diff spot.

Mine work as designed but I got used to previous BMW's where only the passenger mirror tilts (which I prefer), so it's 'off' for me on the RHO

Seems like everyone thinks it’s unnecessary but it is for me. We have a narrow driveway and if I don’t park right at the edge of the grass, my wife has difficulty opening her doors or pulling in/reverse out. The cameras do not get you as precise as the side mirrors do.

I used the various cameras and they aren’t accurate enough. You either drive on the grass or 2-3 inches away. 2-3 inches may not sound like a lot but with this driveway and the size of this truck, it is.

If they had a setting to keep the main reverse lane assist view ON while showing the passenger tires at the same time that might work. But I don’t see that option.

I have it set no big deal its not like I actually stare at those mirrors anyway when backing up.

Yes and it is driving me nuts because they go back slightly too high and I don't notice it until I'm driving down the highway and the memory button won't work.

Is this just tow mirrors or the regular too? I have the tow.

I have the standard mirrors and they do the same thing

Yes I use it. It’s happened once where they didn’t go back in the RHO. I just hit the memory button and they moved back. I had similar issue in my 21 rebel. It seemed to happen when I shift back to drive before the mirrors move all the way down. Gremlins man, they live in Uconnect. 😂. Just like my laptop, iPad, and every other electronic device I own. Reboot! 😂

I've used the reverse tilt function in every vehicle I've had that offered that feature....because of my driveway. Like @Webbo stated, I try to get really close to the edge of the driveway when I back in so I leave enough room to not bang the door on whatever other vehicle is parked next to it (Bronco or Yukon and the cameras simply don't get you close enough. I do disable it when I'm backing my boat down the ramp though. Guess I need to figure out the trailer steer feature

And of course when I'm driving down the highway after, I notice the top mirrors are adjusted up a bit from where I set them. I've tried pressing the memory button to get it back into position but it's almost like it "forgets" the mirrors
