Ram RHO
I saw the previews & finally got to see the final version last night.

My neighbor, a former Chrysler engineer & fan of the brand, said in reference to the obvious sound dub, “Smart marketing”!

What are your thoughts?

My kids loved seeing "Daddy's truck" on TV. Couldn't hear exhaust over all their comments, talking and hysterical laughter. They loved the bears and want a new version of Goldie lox told to them nightly. Clever marketing, indeed.

wife loved it as well, got her excited for my new truck. same color as mine in the commercial as well! I thought it was fun. Shit on the tacoma commercial LOL

Even specifically listening for it a few times it's hard to pick up much over everything else in that commercial.

I always prefer non-deceptive marketing but this one doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me... I think it's just going to be something for the RHO haters to further shit on.

Yeah - the OP must have better ears than me . . . I couldn't hear an engine in any of that vid!

smart marketing is right...I see no logical V8 option to replace the HO hurricane and the only one in the pipeline that could do this is the hellcat which was retired. I would not want a 392 with 485hp and a weak engine design vs my HO hurricane. I drove a lot of 392 engines prior to having a HO, sounds awesome...but I saw to many of these engines fail during powertrain development to ever forget. Plus a buddy had a skattypatty with one and it was having lifter issues at 20k miles on it.

Hellcat is retired? I thought you could still get a ‘25 Hellcat Durango (of all the vehicles to still have a Hellcat option…SMH).

When I first saw the front end shot of the "RHO" jumping over the volcano...I thought it was a TRX because it looked like a silver skid plate but I rewatched and paused it a few times to make sure the grill et all matched the RHO and to make sure they didn't cut corners...they didnt :)

Thats been planned for several years, believe it or not that was in the plans for a while. Durango is an old platform (Its not the new WL platform like Grand cherokee). This is why the Trackhawk didnt come out in the new platform.
