‘24 Ram 2500
Pretty impressed with the RHO. Just picked it up from Dan Cummins yesterday after 10 month wait. Had a ‘22 and ‘23 TRX prior. Also currently have a ‘24 Raptor R and have had a ‘23 base Raptor in the past. The RHO is definitely not a TRX but I believe the RHO would be a strong contender to the base Raptors.

While the Raptor R is a nice truck, but for the money I will be trading to get a TRX. Just need to decide do I need to wait on a ‘26 TRX or I buy a ‘24 TRX final edition with 7k miles I have found. Its just crazy to think a Raptor R with a MSRP of $115k has a trade value of $120k (Same as I paid) and a TRX with a MSRP of $125k is selling for $100k. The TRX does not hold the value the Raptor R does but they are just as fun to drive. And the Supercharger Whine on the TRX with a CAI is music to my ears

We trade alot and you’re correct. But I did find when I traded in the TRX’s they did hold value very well specially since bought at invoice minus 4%. Im sure the smart answer would be to keep the Raptor because value will Stay up . But I just enjoyed the TRX more. Specially if its 20 something Thousand less for all same features. Still to early to see what the RHO will do. But it may stay around a while. Son is getting it when he gets his license

Ask yourself why you’re buying a truck. Is it as an investment (i.e., resale value is the most important consideration), or do you want the most enjoyable experience?
I’m obviously biased towards the TRX, so take my advice with a grain of salt.
The Final Editions were overpriced - there was nothing in them that wasn’t on a ‘23 model. So it makes perfect sense that the Final Editions would drop sharply after the hype passed.
I’m hopeful that a ‘26 TRX will come out, but I’m not holding my breath…I’ll believe it when I see it. If you’re not in a rush, then it might be worth waiting to see what happens. But if it doesn’t materialize, you’ll likely have a hard time finding a pristine ‘24 or earlier TRX.
If it was me, I’d probably go with a TRX right now. And you can always trade up if/when they release a newer one. Assuming it’s not retarded expensive again.

While the raptors seem to hold value, you also cant buy them at steep discounts. If you plan on doing some modding to the trx and getting some more hp out of it i’d say buy used & send it. If you keep things stock I might hold out and see what ram offers for the 2026.

Appreciate yall! Dont do alot of mods. Just usually only CAI and exhaust to preserve the warranty. So I figure I will just continue to look at ‘24’s and if I see a good deal then I will grab it. Otherwise I will wait for a ‘26.

On a side note have found a local ‘24 with 21k miles for a for a pretty good price ($93k) that is pretty loaded (MSRP of $116k) that is not a special or final edition. But dont remember when I have had anything with that many miles so I’m hesitant. But made a offer and if they get to the price i will just buy a extended warranty.
