Rho warranty / digital card

I currently own a 2025 Ram RHO, and I was seriously considering upgrading to the 2027 RHO. My plan was to trade in my truck, take a small loss, and avoid spending about $12k on a FlexCare extended warranty (8 years / 80k miles).

Originally, I was told the 2027 model came with a 10‑year / 100k warranty, which made the upgrade worth it. But the dealer just informed me the warranty is actually 5 years / 60k, not 10/100. Since my 2025 only has 3 years / 36k, I’m now stuck either paying the $12k for the extended warranty or trading in — and the upgrade no longer feels worth it with the shorter warranty.

On top of that, my digital card and app still don’t work. I registered my VIN months ago, and the dealership keeps avoiding the issue every time I call. I’m not sure how many times I’m supposed to ask before they actually fix it.

Looking for advice on both situations:
- Is upgrading still worth it with the shorter warranty?
- What should I do when the dealership keeps dodging the digital card/app repair?

I got the warranty option for close to 12k ,im in California and the Mopar flex care is not available online to get.

Digital key go to TSB 08-340-25, and tell ur dealership to do it. That’ll update ur module and should give access to the key. That’s specifically to the phone as ur key. The keycard that they give u as a back up is separate. There has been some confusion on here w that.

For what it's worth, my dealer said the have a 10r, 100k powertrain warranty and a 5yr, 60k everything else warranty. Also, go to the factory warranty reseller and you can get the warranty basically for cost.

10/100 powertrain. Standard factory B2B 3/36 and 5/60 roadside.

TRX might be different as it’s an SRT branded model but who knows.

I believe you are right. I think the 10/1000 warranty was limited to the 2026 my. For 2027 everything goes back to 3/36 5/60

Look up that TSB it explains how to do it in detail to the tech. They should be able to just flash it w their dealer tool.

2026 models only got the 10yr/100k powertrain. The bumper to bumper is still 3yr/36k

Its not all of us who vote for this its the corrupt politicians that get fraudulent vote who keep themselves in power , plot of us dont want this, we really dont havr a choice , look at our most recent mayoral race how corrupt it is .
