Just received notice that the truck moved to Status E (In Production)!!!

Shows that Estimated Delivery Date is: June 10, 2025.

Just curious, how long does it typically take to move from In Production to Built?

I watched the build of the TRX on How it’s Made and it seemed like the truck was built in the same day.

could go through the factory and be on the train in a week or two OR you could be like some of us and spend 3-4 months at the factory and still not on a train. Roll the dice brother! Just like playing Russian roulette.

Are your dealers giving you daily status updates? Mine seems aggravated each time I ask for a status update.

Ordered mine on 3/6, and went JB last night. Looks like it made it to upfitter today. Should take delivery next week. Hopefully for the many i see on here the orders start getting moved along and make it through quick. I know mine was lost in plant for over a week before it was found and pushed out by some helpful insiders. Starting to get excited...

I ordered mine the day before yours. What does your RAM tracker say? Just curious how far behind.

Just for an example, My truck went into production on 12/9/2024, and was reported built on 12/11/2024, Shipped on 12/14/2024 and delivered to my dealer in Southern NH on 12/20/2024. So mine was built in 2 Days. Built on a Monday
The info was from my Ram tracker, and it matches my door sticker as being built on 12/11/2024

Probably because you're only a month in.
Right, I think I’ve reached out twice for status estimates because there are suddenly other vehicles showing up on lots nearby. I was just surprised by the speed of detailed updates shown above.

No. I was only interested in my VON and when it arrived. Could care less about daily updates, or any updates.
I believe we access the same data base as they do using the VON. Buyers can get their own updates. I wouldn't trust any dealer update anyway. lol

This is incorrect. The consumer facing tracker is wrong most of the time. The dealers have access to accurate status. The only way to know what the status is is to ask your salesman.

Why? No idea. But we know this with absolute certainty from monitoring orders over the past almost year.

Is that what your dealer/salesperson told you ...."they have access to accurate status" Yeah OK.. Dealers will tell you anything you want to hear bro.
It's unfortunate you, and others had such a poor experience with the tracker. When I used it, it reported accurate facts. Was not aware there were issues? My point was dealers or salespersons are not going to wait on the phone finding out where in the process your truck is. Or they be on the hold all day. Buyers concerned with their orders are better off using the Tracker or calling the Ram help desk themselves if they believe the tracker is wrong. Chances are if there is a problem with your order, the first place i'd look is the ordering dealer. They make mistakes all the time.

Sounds like you need a new dealer.
I asked for updates pretty much weekly after my truck went into production. You respectfully have no idea what you’re talking about. The dealers absolutely have much more accurate information. They have access to the production code, able to tell what part of production the truck is in, ie. framing, paint, final inspection, etc.
once the truck is shipped they can tell you what city the truck is in on a rail car.

The customer facing ram tracker is usually behind by about 2 days where as the dealer has instantaneous updates if you ask.

If i could order a vehicle direct from the factory, i would of.
not a fan of Car dealers

The consumer-facing tracker has 5 stages, dealer-end has about 3x that.
For example you can see "production" where we can see Frame, trim, paint.
You don't see BE, BA, or C... those are all invisible to customer until it hits D.
D1 you see as scheduled, where we see the estimated completion date.

Additionally, the ram site doesn't ever regress, while an order can. If you get "scheduled" and then rolled back, or cancelled, or scrapped, the tracker will be stuck wherever it last was.

Also timing delays, we see change next day, where customer may not see it on their end for 3-4 days later. The Ram emails to customer can be even further back. Perhaps your experience seemed more timely, but that is often not the case.

Tracker had one of our HDs showing it was going to New Jersey today, despite it being on a train to Texas. I could go on and on.

We don't do this on the phone, its all online. There is a limit to what we can see, however. It's an internal website called VOIM.

FWIW we aren't even capable of making mistakes in between when the order is placed (VON generated) and when it shows up.
Blissfully out of our hands in those interim moments (months?), so there's no reason for a dealer to "tell you what you want to hear."

If you're going to contact RAM directly, be prepared for Althea treatment (IYKYK)
If you're going to contact your dealer, INCLUDE YOUR VON # every time.

One of the trucks I ordered showed up at the dealer, while the Ram app did not even show it as "Shipped" yet.

And that was a few weeks after it was built, so it wasn't like it was built and then on the lot in 2-3 days.

No, but I haven’t been reaching out to them either. I figured I will just watch the Tracker online and wait for the delivery phone call.
