When I connect my Samsung S24 Ultra to the passenger screen via the HDMI cord I receive a message stating "MONITOR or TV can't display Samsung DEX" (Your monitor or TV isn't working correctly or its current resolution isn't supported by Samsung DEX.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Does anyone know a way to correct it?

Ultra user as well, no truck to test tho....sad day. sorry man, im curious if theres a fix. Only thing i can thing is that dex doesnt support the funky aspect ratio of the passenger screen. im diggin around the internet now.

Can you turn off the dex in the quick menu? I just saw another forum post with the same issue and I'm having the same issues as well... I havent been able to test just yet but I'm thinking its a phone thing not a truck thing.

I turned it off off where it says "auto start when HDMI is connected". I will try it later and let you know if it works.

Thanks for the advice.

I'm at my dealership now... They are looking into it. They've tried different phones with my truck and they agree something isn't right... They tried it on another RHO on the lot and are having the same issue... They think it's my cable. I'm going to buy another one and test it out to see if they're correct. The cable I have is a braided one so that could be it... I will report back

If the new cable works please let us know where you got it. Thanks.

Ok just got back from the dealership... sure enough it was the braided cable i purchased from amazon that was the issue... I purchased a new cable from best buy pictured here. Purchased for $34.00... I'm not saying anyone should pay that much just make sure its not a braided cable (I think). Hope this helps everyone!

Also when I first plugged my phone(s) in with the cable it took a minute for the truck to recognize the phone... just give it a few seconds.
