Spare Tire

Dumb question but I just noticed my spare tire has a cable through it and a standard padlock. The ignition key is too big, and I didn't get any other keys. Is this from factory? Or something my dealer did?

The way it works when you get a flat tire, you call the dealer and for a small small fee he comes out and unlocks your spare.

Spoke to the salesman. Told me where to find the key. (zip tied to the jack) said he thought it came from factory that way, but it's also with an aftermarket socket for the security lug nut. I'm guessing it's a Service Dept. up charge thing maybe.

Under the passenger seat, pop side panel off below the seat controls.

Have you tried to use it yet? I'd love to know how many minutes or hours it took you to get it out, lol. I hate everything about the stock jack, except how tightly it is stowed for off-roading.
