I got mine on order and was wondering for ones who have one if you found anything you really like or don't like since you got it. Is there anything that you didn't know or expect it could do or have on it for cool features or benefits?

I know the specs but after driving it for awhile wanted to get your opinion since I ordered this off pics and specs. I have had a 2014 ram sport from 14 till now.

Good on ya for lasting from 2014 till now - RHO will be like stepping into a time machine - (or a F35 cockpit) ... tons of feedback and videos here on power, exhaust, major features - and lack of dipstick so wont list those
Lacks
  • Surprised about the no-standard-cruise control - meaning only adaptive (lots of chatter on the forum here)
  • Owner manual (for those who read or even care) - surprised its a standard Ram 1500 manual with lots of "If you have this or that" ... not a RHO manual
  • Phone (RAM) App / Phone as key - pretty poor documentation (Phone as key documented as out - but NOT) ... and the subscription services (whats included and for how long) - confusing - shared that feedback with the dealer ... and the Access Card (not sure Ive found value in that thing)
  • Lack of DRL/Lighting control - need Tazer DT compatibility - should be more built-in ability to define external lighting/marker options
Plus's
  • Curb cameras Im finding super useful in tight spots - and resolution is great
  • Multiple heat levels for seats and wheel (didnt have that on a 2020 RAM)
  • IMO - the lane keeping/auto drive - works pretty damn smooth
  • Rear seat comfort, recline, heat, storage - hard to truly see those things without actually getting the in the back
  • Comfort and ride - great blend of off road stance, yet comfortable and controllable ride
  • RAM branded puddle/down lights - cool at night - had no clue until folks started posting
All in all super impressed - had Diesels, F150's, Ram's etc - very happy - and also personally feel the Level 1 was worth it

Surprising for me the flat steering wheel on the bottom. Never had it before but now I see how good it is especially for highway driving. I like the exhaust notes, especially the quick burbles on upshifting at high rpms. Hands free driving. Automatic tailgate close it with my knees majority of the time now. carbon fiber deatils are super nice

One thing I don't like is alot of redundancies in the uconnect. There are so many ways to open up the cameras or apps, changing temperature etc. I get its nice to have options but do we really need to show the map directions on the display, instrument cluster and HUD? Same thing for performance pages just feel like extra stuff to scroll through. For me the more simple the easier I'll remember

Oh and another big suprise for me, the performance. Before I ordered my Rho I had a ct5 v blackwing on order. V8 supercharged 700+ hp etc. The Rho is good enough to scratch that itch. Will probably get a manual corolla gr or something for fun. So I guess the Rho helped me saved a few grand lol

Thanks for all the info! Do you have a picture of the RAM puddle down lights? Thought I saw that somewhere but didn't know if it was stock with it or level 1. No one has talked about it much unless I'm blind ha. Any pictures?

This is only my 2nd truck, since my 87 Ranger STX (88-93), and my 1st RAM ever, so everything is new to me.

The ride is excellent. My wife wasn't convinced about the ride until she was a passenger. *I think she's a little jelly since it might ride better than her 23 Expedition Limited.

The truck has plenty of power, and while it's not V8 nice, the sound isn't terrible. The morning warm-up 1st start growl is nice. My girls know it's time to head for the truck, for school, when they hear it.

The interior is beautiful. The seats don't wrap around quite as much as a 24 Raptor 37, but they are very supportive and comfortable.

The only issue I've found so far is one of the driver's side rear fender flare screws is loose. It's just pushed through the hole without biting/connecting to anything.

My truck looks exactly like this right now, no point in even washing it as we still got mounds of snow all over the place.
Good area to test what mud flaps will or wont protect.

Damn I'm so excited...going from my 14 sport which i love and people still comment that it still looks pretty new. No issues in 11 years except for the wheel wells starting to rust...thanks MN winters. Had white and ordered white again.
Ordered Jan 11th and I've checked the tracker a few times a day...(watching the pot boil)
Can't wait to see what 11 year difference from a Sport to a RHO.
Liked the TRX but gas, price, and my wife would hate the 'extra' noise. People complain about not being as loud as the trx but we have a lot of kids in our neighborhood and I don't want to be that one d bag with the loud truck. I find this as a positive for sure.

You absolutely know Borla, Magnaflow, FlowMaster, etc. are all working on sound and performance exhaust upgrades for the RHO, so we just wait to see what they come up with...

No standard cruise will be an issue for me.

Posted this on another thread - as I complained in my orig post about the documentation .... this made me laugh (unless im just truly missing something)

How do you engage this function? Will it do it with mirrors out too?
Yes. I have my mirrors set to NOT fold in. I have no need for it. Does it with mirrors in or out!

My list includes what these previous guys said. My wife loves the massage seats. Ventilated seats will be great in the summer.

Lastly, I like the gear selector in the center console area. My 2020 Rebel had a dial/knob on the dash for that. While it did create more room in the console, it seemed like it was more suited for a Prius than a truck.

some info here if your approach/puddle lights aren't on https://www.ram-rho.com/threads/perimeter-exterior-approach-lighting.651/post-15207

and yes auto fold mirrors modified through Vehicle Settings->Mirrors and Wipers->Auto Fold Side Mirrors (for on/off) as @Banger stated ... there are 2 different approach lights - one which is on the mirror itself and does change its down angle depending on the mirror fold state .... the RAM down light is projected from under the mirror housing so its projection does not change if mirrors are folded.

The details are what keep impressing me. I just noticed it last night, there's a row of lights in the door panel that shine down on the map pocket/foam door insert area.
