Throttle Controllers

So I know many are moving towards the Diablo Sport for the enhanced throttle control in addition to the power gain. I will too, eventually. But...for people that don't want the extra tuning capability, throttle controllers are a good way to enhance the throttle response. Since I was already running my pedal commander on my 2023 Ram Limited, Model PC-78, it is compatible with the 2025 Ram Rho. I just installed it and holy shit what a difference in response. There are other controllers out there, but mine has consistently worked.

Exactly, it makes a big difference.

My truck might be quite a bit faster with my Diablosport, but the biggest benefit is regular driving because of how much better the pedal feels. That’s why I went with it over the JB4 which only makes a difference when doing WOT pulls but it feels stock everywhere else. The DS was worth the money for the accelerator pedal improvement alone.

I have it set for Sport+ 2 right now...it's a little too much honestly, may dial it down

My pedal commander consistently failed (twice) on last Ram haha. Trying Roar pedal now works as advertised.

going pedal commander and already installed the Jb4. I have the jb4 on my m8, x7 and have used for past 10 years. Solid product and I can get Terry and or his tech on quickly.

Had it on the ZR2, much better than the others being that it connects to the ODBII port, so it can't lose power and disable the pedal.

I called them today and they said since Pedal Commander’s model of PC-78 hasn’t changed for the new 2025, then theirs will also fit from previous year. Swear to God that’s what the dude said. He also said the issue with the Pedal Commander is if you turn it too high, that is when failures can occur, otherwise he said they work fine. I’ve had Pedal Commanders in multiple cars for years and not a single issue. But…try a different one and let us know.
