Now that 2026 MY is rolling out and we see new colors and perhaps even longer warranty periods and still speculation about future TRX, I’m curious what resale market looks like for our 2025 RHOs. I’m in no way interested in selling mine anytime soon, but some will be. With the prices most of us obtained on the 2025s, I’m genuinely curious how much if any loss would occur.

A couple of datapoints:
- While I was awaiting my build to complete, a local Chevy dealer had a RHO with under 2000mi show up. It was my exact build, so I went to check it out. They ended up selling that for $4k over what I ended up paying for my new order.
- I see Carvana has 2 local to me, both significantly higher cost than what I paid for a Level 1. Interestingly, both have less than 1k miles.
- KBB lists my trade in at $79k average. Interesting, as I paid $71k for my truck with sticker price of $85k.

i saw a guy purchased a used RHO with 10k miles for 9k under sticker. Still more than we paid new for a used truck with 10k...good for him, not horrible as far as value goes. At least us guys that purchased new could at least get what we paid for them if we chose to sell.

I wasn’t sure what was going to happen with resale value so I leased mine. I’m normally a cash buyer but given the volatility of the car market in general, let alone the market for a specialty vehicle like the RHO, it seemed like a good idea to put the risk of depreciation on the bank.

I think the guys who got 10k off at mark dodge are set up best to be able to trade in somewhere else and get a better trade deal.

I wonder what it’s like getting 10k off at mark, then trying to trade in there for another one. I can’t imagine they give the best trade offers as they sell new ones for less than used at most dealers.

I’m actually really curious on that end. From what I’ve seen so far, the big discount dealers only offer those prices on sold orders. As soon as it’s a vehicle on the lot, the price goes up. Maybe $5k off instead of $10-11k on a new order.

I saw one very lightly used one come back to Jim Glover, and their price on that unit was also way higher than my sold order price. They also sold it within a couple of days.

We have had two sold ordered units that the customers have traded back in. One was a black level 1 with 4k miles, a level kit, Vossens and 37's. It sold within a week for $81K. The other was a white all stock level zero with 3k miles. it sold in less than a week for just a little less than the original MSRP.

I’ll take the next set of Vossens off your hands if that happens again 😂
