Anyone else feel like the ventilated seats are super weak? I can feel it, but just barely even on the highest setting.

On my GMC it was much more effective.

Just curious if anyone else has noticed this or maybe something isn't working as designed for me.

As I'm typing this I realized I should test the other seats and see if they're any different...will do and update.

Yes, I have to put them on the highest setting to feel anything...agreed about the GM seats, those are frosty.

I thought the same until i realized there is an option to do only the back, only the bottom or both back and bottom. Mine was set to only the back at first.

I 100% agree was gonna bring it up next time i go to dealer. I almost feel nothing on my back, the bottom I can feel more cool. I made sure both bottom and back are checked. The lowest setting in my chevy is much cooler than the highest in the rho. My wife also agrees on the passenger side

Are the GM ventilated or cooled? Big difference. Cooled should be using a portion of the AC to provide cooling I believe. RAM uses ventilates that has a fan pulling air away from the seat causing a cooling effect. At least that was my understanding.

The test that I’ve seen on used is to turn on the ventilated seat and put a piece of paper against the back. Does it stay there?

Yes, agree. My seat coolers are weak…not a lot of airflow. Wife’s Tesla much better.

For those who are questioning “vented” vs. “cooled”…if your AC is on, they are cooled. It’s all physics. The coolest air drops to the floor where the seat fans draw their air.

I’ve never seen an actual “cooled” seat that runs compressed refrigerant thru the seat cushions.

On high, they work much better than the BMW and Range Rover seats that I have tried.

GM seats are ventilated. And yeah they work really well....BUT.....the fans are loud af! I will say, though, that the massage feature in the RHO is stronger than that of the ones in my '24 AT4X. And having my ass massaged while I'm driving......☺️

Its funny but I absolutely love that feature but I often forget about it until Im out of the truck.

Like others, I'm all about turning off the auto start, deflating the lumbar(it always goes back to full tilt when you enter the truck), opening the sunroof and adjusting my tunes....its a workout...and if my wife was driving it, adjust the seatbelt height and readjust the rearview mirror :) By then I forget about the massage.

I had a Mazda6 with the ventilated seats and it did the reverse of most others, it pulled the air instead of pushing it and it actually worked a lot better compared to others and luxury brands.

Yeah. I noticed this too.

The seats in my Fusion would damn near give you frost bite/hypothermia of the ass and lower back!

I attributed this to all the other tech/hardware in the seat. (I have a L1 Truck.)
