Hey everyone, I picked up the new RHO a few weeks ago, and have been enjoying it. I've been in the RAM family for about 4 years, after being pretty die hard GMC guy for about a decade and a Ford guy going back before that.

I tow with my '24 Ram 3500 Cummins MegaCab Laramie and love that truck...it pulls a 40' 5th wheel like nothing. But the 1 ton springs are brutal for daily driving, so I kept a '22 Hemi eTorque crew cab for daily driving. I was thinking of upgrading the daily driver to a TRX and then they stopped producing it. Didn't want to risk going with a used one (assuming people like to have lots of off-road fun with them), so I decided to give the '25 RHO a shot.

Gotta say, I'm loving it so far. The suspension and tires feel like pillows.

The 9 drive modes are fun and flexible...but I mostly stay in Sport mode bc I like the feel on paved roads the best. I live in the mountains of Utah and have given it a few nice trail rides out here and it's handled great. Plan to do a lot more and throw some mods on this for that purpose. Will keep you all posted.

Let me know if you think you'll stay with your RHO with the next gen TRX comes out...I'm hearing 2027 for a likely timeline.

Any mods you've done that you can't live without? Please share!

Welcome to the forum.

Sport mode is definitely fun, but per your other post asking about mpg, it’s worth noting that’s probably hurting your mpg. Sport will hold higher RPMs in most driving situations as compared to street transmission.

Lots of prior TRX owners here, and for the most-part I’ve seen they’re pretty pleased with the RHO overall. For me coming from a Laramie with a Hemi, this truck is better in every way so far. I’m loving it!

Also, I was living in SLC area prior, and I’m definitely missing me some desert roads right now!

Could always choose the custom mode, modify suspension and keep throttle control and shifting down.

or maybe I'm wrong. Who's to say. Still trying to figure this thing out.

Mopar power running boards…must have!

Anyone figured out if there is a tazer or not out for the RHO. I was at the dealership the other day and the girl plugged something in to check codes and all of the lights upfront went amber. Looked awesome! A tazer would do that also.

There is not.

Not sure what all came with your RHO, but the mods I love are:
1. Took the "bead lock capable" rims and made them beadlocks
2. Added a FitcamX Dashcam
3. Tinting all around, 5% on sunroof
4. Weapon Magnet holder by driver's seat - it wouldn't be a Texas truck without one 🤣
5. Rough Country Tri-Fold Hard Tonneau Cover, self-installed.

Which magnet did you buy to hold your gun?
