What’s the best wheel offset for the truck? I want to go the 18x9 with 37’s look, but still have the option to off road. Any suggestions? Thanks!

My opinion is an 18x9 0 offset is perfect. To do any serious off-road stuff, you will need Eibach springs or something along those lines to accommodate the 37” tires and allow full travel. Just my opinion

Thanks man! I was planning to do the Eibach pro kit up front. I read that perch collars reduce full travel path.

I feel strongly that 0 offset looks the best. It makes it more aggressive but not "bro" truck with the wheels poking out. This is mine with 20x9 0 offset.

Looks great. Do you think you can go off road with that setup? Jumps? The Sht we saw in the original marketing ad? lol

Oh 100%, if anything it's more capable now just due to the beefier Falken tires. I also have the Eibach springs sitting in the garage waiting to go on. I'm going to pair them with a 3/4 inch lift in the rear for slightly more ride height all around.

Can’t wait to see how your truck comes out!

I agree, because the factory offset is around +19 at 0 you get more poke than you think, but I would definitely go with 13.50 wide tires

Where did you read that?

I'm not hip to what the numbers mean... when yall say '0' offset does that mean it doesnt stick out from the truck at all but its not inset?

Zero offset means that the hub face that mounts to the truck is dead center of the wheel. Offset is the positive, zero or negative measurement taken from where the hub face of the wheel mates to the truck hub, in relation to the centerline of the wheel. Negative offset is more wheel stickout and postive tucks the wheel inward under the flare. it is measured in millimeters.

Got it... so stock how does the wheel sit... the default wheels i have seem to be positive offset. If I purchase wheel spacers for my stock wheels will that get me to '0'?

They sit inboard 5/8”-3/4” with the factory +19mm offset. I found some 15mm hub-centric spacers that come with extended thread lug nuts that basically take a factory wheel to only +4mm offset. Pretty much flush with the fender flares. No fear of not enough lug thread engaging with the ET lug nuts. 👌🏼👍🏼
