Who's had the most issues?

2025 RAM RHO
So far in more than 2 months of ownership and 6500 miles...
  1. Leaking transmission heater - fixed by dealership (took 10 days)
  2. Dent on passenger door from transit - fixed by dealership at same time as heater above
  3. Pulling to the right - software update kind of fixed it
  4. Warning illumination light not available message - brought it up to dealership and performed some type of software update but still present
  5. Emergency braking system not available message (mostly when towing) - have not talked to dealership about it
  6. At night, when I put in reverse the UConnect screen turns the brightness to the highest setting - have not talked to dealership about it
  7. The automatic day/night brightness for cluster and Uconnect screen lag or do not adjust accordingly - have not talked to dealership about it
  8. Lag when changing between screens in the cluster and RPMs - have not talked to dealership about it.
  9. Wireless charger is useless - I don't use it
  10. Apple CarPlay can be a major pain in the ass
Restarting the truck will fix most of these, but still pretty annoying. Love the truck, mechanically has been pretty good. Electrical seems to be the major problem here. Battery is usually around 13.7-14.5
 
1st truck(4200 miles)

  • Truck stuck at distribution depot for 1 month with CEL, transferred to Dealership as depot was unable to clear CEL
  • Stuck at dealership for 2 weeks as dashboard and interior was removed to check modules and wiring grounds. 2 modules replaced and 1 had to be plugged in
  • Both Batteries Replaced
  • Truck picked up, CEL returns due to blown fuse. Fuse replaced
  • Truck picked up and CEL returned the next day, cause was 2 waste gate clips falling off. Replaced both clips
  • Truck picked up and CEL retuned, 1 of 2 waste gate clips fell off. Replaced 1 clip
  • Truck steering TSB update
  • Blown Sub woofer, replaced under warranty


2nd truck(400 miles currently at dealer)

  • Battery’s Replaced pre delivery
  • Failed water pump, failed abs module, failed brake booster
  • Green Cluster light broken
  • HUD warped due to improper installation

I’m having the same issue as your #7 now. For some reason when I turn on the truck at night, the cluster is at full brightness while the Uconnect is very dim (have it very dim on purpose by the knob) and it won’t adjust on its own. I have to turn the jnob all the way down so the cluster will adjust and then go back up a bit to have it where I want it.

I wonder if 6 is done by default for safety. I have thought about this one. If your screen was dim and for whatever reason when you are backing up it is kind of dark/hazy, it would be tough to see. Its probably a CYA thing where RAM doesn't want it to be an issue and makes it as bright as possible. Mine definitely gets brighter in reverse as well.

I’m having the same issue as your #7 now. For some reason when I turn on the truck at night, the cluster is at full brightness while the Uconnect is very dim (have it very dim on purpose by the knob) and it won’t adjust on its own. exactly...yup same as me. I do the same to "fix it"

the thing is it was not doing it from the beginning...just started doing it in the last two weeks.
