if I put a phone on either wireless charger (with case on or without)
the charger will illuminate a blue solid light, and the phone will be charging, within say 5 minutes the phone will stop charging and the blue light will be replaced by a blinking red light

any suggestions?
i've tried multiple phones, mostly with a Samsung 24+

Mine will do this if I have the phone misaligned with exactly where the charger wants it. If I move it around slightly it'll resolve.

That being said, I just keep a wired charger plugged in for the rare cases I need it. The wireless seems to do almost nothing

so... if your case the phone starts charging then the pad blinks red, at which point you can move the phone and get it to charge again?

for me... once it blinks red, no more charging at all

Immediately after I notice the red, I reposition and it turns blue.

I have the same problem, (android user).

BUT........

I've had two loaner 2025 1500s (Laramie, Bighorn), while my truck is in service.

Both of the loaners chargers do the same red light thing.

Information online says the truck charging pad has difficulties with some phone cases.

I hated that charging pad enough that I just bought a mount from BulletPoint and called it a day
Yeah, I'm approaching that level myself.

The charging pad loves my wife's iPhone, but treats my S24 Ultra like a red-headed stepchild...

If one turns red, I put it on the other one (L1 has 2). Or you can reposition it. If your phone gets hot, it seems to trigger the red. Maybe some sort of fail safe to prevent the phone battery from overheating?

With that being said, the wireless charging on my previous 2020 Ram wasn't nearly this finicky. Hardly ever went to red. The RHO seems to be much more picky.

hmmm
my samsung 24 seems to bounce it from blue to red within 5 min and not be happy after that (like restart the truck before I can get the blue back); I'm L1; it'll behave the same way on both chargers

to date it hasn't charged for more than say 5min; this is bummer as in the denali this works great

If my phone is around 75% charged, it seems to work fine. If my phone is low and actually needs charged, it blinks red. I think the phone may pull more amps than the pad and handle. It’s worthless.

Although I had a Laramie loaner and it worked just fine. With a case, without a case, worked every time.
