Looks like this is what we have been waiting for... my truck is going in next Thursday. Just thought I'd let everyone know that's sick of their RHO pulling to the right!

My dealer said my truck got an update while in the shop that may fix the highway steering drift. Picking the truck up tonight & I’ll report back if it was the same TSB & if the issue is gone.

Fingers crossed.

Good shit...this is the stuff we all need to see. Hopefully they start making progress on other symptomatic areas like battery, modules/wiring, etc.

I need to schedule an oil change and will refer them to this. Thanks for posting.

Yup! Did 50+ miles of highway yesterday.

Got the flash & it works…kinda. Not an immediately apparent change, but…

Highway drift still follows the road grade, but it’s better….maybe 50% better? Now, if I let the truck drift, it goes 50% further before I have to correct the path. The road grade compensation of the EPS still doesn’t work as well as it did on my ‘15 Ram, but it’s getting there.

Hands-free cruise…90% improvement…no more “ping pong” between the lane lines, but it still hugs the left line around left curves in the highway. Frankly, I couldn’t use the feature before the flash update…it made my passengers motion sick. Used it probably 1/2 my trip yesterday & no complaints.

I dont even think I'd notice this problem because I have a jeep wrangler lol thing wanders all over. Constant steering correction needed. ITS A JEEP THING!

After tsb I still feel like I get a little drift with crown, but less... and steering definitely feels lighter

When you guys are saying you updated it... This is something you can do yourself? I was assuming dealer had to flash

No, dealer has to do it. Takes about 2 minutes for the flash to update EPS.

Generally curious on these TSB updates… my truck should deliver in the next week or so. Would a new truck on the assembly line already have these updates? If not, will these be flashed as part of PDI?

I asked the dealer this same question and they said anything it needs upon delivery would be flashed/replaced during PDI.
