Glad your transfer case & front diff fluid levels were A-OK. Another forum member had his RHO checked by his dealer and both were good. Soooo…maybe this is no longer an issue.

PLEASE NOTE: The generic Ram paper manual we all got with our RHO shows 10K mile oil changes, which agrees with our oil life monitors. BUT, the electronic manual that you can access through the Ram app says oil changes on RHO should NEVER EXCEED 6K miles or 6 months, which aligns with what the Mopar tech advised.

There was some debate on this forum with this discrepancy. In the end, it was agreed the 6K mile/6 month interval was correct for RHO. Ram is likely expecting these to be used off-road & that use case scenario definitely justifies more frequent oil changes.

Another point of reference…the HO I6 used in BMW M cars (RHO engines are eerily similar in configuration & output) gets oil changes per its electronic monitor approximately every 7K miles (per an owner with a 2024 M4 Competition). And remember, those cars typically don’t see off-road use.
