Install video and first impressions of Timbergrove enterprises air bags
With 5 psi I bottom the bags out on city streets & pulling in my driveway, with 10 psi in truck sits ridiculously high in the rear. Today I pulled the bags and capped the lines to get my factory travel back. Quality of this kit is spot on, but the physical travel of the suspension makes it impossible to keep the up travel the truck needs, probably being limited by 2-3" of up travelgreat vid….
how is the ride unloaded?
I skipped through some of it but did you show the air tank install portion and how it hooked up?Install video and first impressions of Timbergrove enterprises air bags
No air tank.I skipped through some of it but did you show the air tank install portion and how it hooked up?
So what supplies the airbag air?No air tank.
Chris
Looks like you just fill it with tire inflator or whatever?![]()
So what supplies the airbag air?
That makes sense now thanksThe standard way is to fill the bags via a schrader valve with an external air supply source (portable compressor, bicycle pump, etc). Then you manually deflate the bags via the schrader valve. OR you can install an onboard compressor and control the filling/ deflation with a controller/ remote/ phone app
Have you installed these on a RHO / TRX? I searched the internet far and wide to find someone successfully running "inter-spring" airbags on a TRX and couldn't find anything. Only found a few posts on people running them on Raptors, the "Airlift 1000" not the "Airlift 1000HD"I’ve used the cheap airlift 1000 bags for years. They work great, don’t raise the truck when not in use and don’t effect ride quality much at all.
I didnt notice much difference yet but only have about 200 or so miles on them.great vid….

Very keen on your experience of the lost uptravel!got about 400 miles on this setup now and forgot bags were on there! ride quality feels good. Looking forward to pushing this setup off road in just a few weeks!
