2025 RAM RHO 2 issues under 3k miles.

Hey guys, picked up my RHO in late March and love it. However within 15 minutes of delivery the Warning light illumination error pops up. Take it to the dealership and they just say there is no solution until late July. WOW. Keep in mind this message pops up constantly. Now yesterday, the service trailer brake system light comes up. There is literally nothing regarding this problem on the internet. I called the dealership to get the truck in and the service advisor said he has never seen that. Really concerning as the truck is under 3 months old and under 3k miles... Anybody else have the trailer brake issue?

Only 2 issues? You gotta pump those numbers up, that’s a good truck in our eyes! Jk.

On a serious note I’ve had the trailer light once, and it was after I washed the truck. As far the warning light error, which one? The “warning light unavailable” or an actual check engine light?

As far as a “fix” in July, sounds like they just want you out of their hair until then. Lol

it was the warning light... they said a new screen is on order, so we will see

It is concerning that newer builds are still having so many issues. I was kind of hoping the RHOs built later in 2025 would have figured things out. Not sure what is going on. I wish we had access to data to see exactly how many RAM 1500s have issues.

I think maybe he meant they ordered the replacement and it will be in by July but I could have read it wrong.

Actually I think there is some degree this is true. Mine went away after I disconnected the batteries. I called my local service who has been top notch on my previous 2500. They told me they have several 2025 Ram 1500’s with this same issue. None have a CEL. According to them RAM knows about this issue and believes its software sequencing related. Something about how it poles the modules can generate the message. They said they hope there is a firmware update coming.

Update: the dealer has order the new screen and says that is where the problem is coming from. Going to be completely honest I love the car but I’m not sure if keeping it is the best idea. I don’t know how to go about getting rid of it. Do I ask the dealership a trade in value? Is lemon law in play?

I have a buzzing headlight, non dimming dash, and the occasional warning light service unavailable...but all go away after a restart. It's been flawless otherwise.

However, I feel like I need to invoice you for the marriage counseling...I think we had a breakthrough.
