2025 RAM RHO 2 issues under 3k miles.

I haven’t been active … Also the truck has been in the shop the last week getting a new gauge screen. So just waiting it out!

question, if the truck was the in shop for 45 days with a undiagnosed problem, you are still keeping it?

I think it depends on everyone's situation. I personally would not keep it but I only have one vehicle, so I can't afford to have it in the shop for a month plus. I would consider other vehicles at that point (I am actually at this point). New things keep coming up. Uconnect issue that requires service, trailer brake gain randomly changes...when I have no trailer attached, are the most recent issues with only 3200 miles. The truck still pulls a bit even after an alignment and TSB...Scheduled my 7th dealer visit for next Tuesday. Sometimes you get unlucky, I guess. Sadness.

I’m totally in the same boat as you. Truly blows my mind that people are so obsessed with a car that has so many issues. The worst part is the dealer won’t let me trade the car in. They just said I have to wait until the car is done. Wanting to trade it in for a Bronco Raptor, but NOPE can’t. Truly disappointing

I mean I get it, it is a fucking sweet truck. Hands down looks the best and might perform the best in its class. And, if you have another car (or two, like some of these ballers on this forum), it's not as big of a deal. I have two little kids and require my vehicle for daily use. We are out and about all the time on the weekends for sports and birthdays and whatever else my wife plans. I can't be down and out constantly, especially because the dealer never seems to have loaners.

Good luck with yours. Hopefully the dealer decides to work with you more. I am possibly going to the dark side, checking out a raptor tomorrow. Might hate it, who knows...but I don't want to do any more service visits for this truck. My dealer said the uconnect issue would "likely be a multi-visit thing." I said I might just sell it before then and he laughed and said he didn't blame me as I have been in a bunch of times with it. He did say he would miss working on it though, and seemed genuine, which was oddly kind of endearing.

I love the choice for the raptor. Definitely looking at those too. Definitely get rid of the car with the U Connect issues. My truck needs a new gauge cluster and has to stay at the dealership for over a month. On top of that they don’t even know if that will fix it. The light came on the day I bought the car. Lastly, was really sold on getting a new RHO until I went into the dealer. He straight up told me not to get a 25’ RHO because of the problems. Good luck on the Raptor!

I mean, they can’t really prevent you from trading it in. Maybe that dealer doesn’t want it, but Carvana will come pick it up next week, along with a host of others.

does suck tho if he wants a specific vehicle, now they are losing the trade-in value for the tax advantage.

To another dealership they are. Because the car can’t be moved because the gauge is being replaced.
