I am looking to purchase a set of wheels and tires and this is the debate that I am having. I do not not want the wheels to stick out to far, but I would like to either run 35s in a 12.5 or 13.5 option. For the most part, this will be a everyday driver with limited dirt adventures. Probably will just switch the stock set for trail days. Looking for insight. I have seen some pictures, but none that really show how far out both wheels poke out. Let me know what you all think.

Here is a pic of 20x10 -18. Just be aware they rub, not bad but they do.

Thank you for those pics! Just solidified 20x9.5 🇺🇸

Looks killer

325/60R20

Mine have the 325/60R20, which are the stock tires in 20”. The -18 offset is the issue for me.

So 35’s and they rub? No way that’s possible.

It is when you don’t have the stock rims with a different offset. The offset on my aftermarket rims is -18.

Sorry man but I’m not buying it, something isn’t right, we have the exact setup on a TRX for 35’s -18 offset on 20’s and they do not rub whatsoever. 37’s barely rub on full suspension flex. This is extremely odd.

Where exactly are they rubbing? The plastic only or metal? If plastic that’s an easy fix. It should NOT be rubbing metal whatsoever. What tires are you running? We are running the Nitto Grapplers, zero rub.

I thought the same thing then I scoured the TRX forums. It does appear that -18 offset with 325/60 tires do rub for some people at full left lock. Very minor plastic rub but a rub nonetheless and it appears it occur with thicker tires like ridge grapplers that have a different tread pattern on both sides of the sidewall.

Yea I think it's has to do with which tire one installs, some 37's are larger than others. I went back to my buddy that now owns the TRX, he did say he had to cut away a thin portion of the plastic, but absolutely cleared any metal. That's good news. I was not aware of the plastic trim, but it was minimal nonetheless. Thanks for the clarification.
