2k inverter ordering

So I know that the 2k inverter isn’t available yet for order. But heard that Tim from SUV and pickup plus ordered the 2k inverter as part of his truck from Mark CJDR according to his youtube by talking with them over the phone. How many of you have also ordered the 2k inverter?

He likely got lucky when placing his order. Things like that can go in and out of availability pretty quick. I placed my order on the 1st and it wasn't available then, it may be available now but I haven't seen anyone that posted their order saying they got it. I asked Anthony about it when I was finalizing mine and we chatted on it briefly, if the RHO had a hybrid battery pack for it to draw from I would have likely waited to order for it. I use my truck for camping and in the winter months when we don't need AC the 2Kw inverter would have been plenty for me to run it at night without a generator. But since the truck would be idling a lot all night I just called it ok.

Well I maybe your first one with the inverter system ordered tripleB. I definitely want that option. I have a pretty nice setup with our RV that runs pretty much on Lifepo batteries. The only thing we use the generator for is the AC on really hot days. I do have a soft start which i think 2k will work just fine for that. Would be nice to eliminate the generator from the back of the bed when we go camping.

2025 is the first year offering it. I assume that you will likely be able to add it later down the line and enable it with AlfaOBD. We will just have to wait and see

it is not incuded, it is a separate item, and is unavailable

This is a separate item, not inlcuded in any packages.
It is not available to order on any trim level.
We were informed a few weeks ago that any orders with the item would have it removed (this was before RHO opened) becuase it was not ready to launch (it had only been open briefly on a few other trims).

When RHO re-opened last week, there was a brief period of time when it was showing availble - we were skeptical - and sure enough, it re-closed very shortly afterwards.
At this point, if you THINK you've got it, I'd get emotionally prepared for not having it.

Most options can, but we won't know what it will take until someone give it a go. Likely will need alfaOBD or Tazer to enable it.

I am hoping that isn't the case with the 2K inverter being available all the way to the end of the year. I am expecting that the 2K inverter and the Forged Blue Metallic color to become available at the same time in the third quarter.

Sooner the better. I just know the dealer I spoke with said it will be available to order by the end of the year.

My guess would be the base price will remain the same. The inverter and different colors will be options you can add for more $.

I am hoping not. If Ram does that, they can forget my order if they do what they did to the TRX. But highly unlike with interest rates like they are and not many people buying Ram trucks overall. But I have been wrong about corporate greed before. Carlos needs his 39 mil for being such a formula one CEO.

Yeah I don't doubt it, but near guaranteed someone will do it. I'm still amazed at the guys that got adaptive cruise working on trucks that didn't come with it.
