Mine does the same...I brought it to a doctor and it was diagnosed as turrets.
Thanks for sharing. I guess I don’t have to be a dummy speeding trying to replicate the sound.Well, after reading everyone’s comments and then the manual (that’s another problem - finding the relevant section in a manual they don’t give you) which then isn’t totally clear my best guess is:-
The chimes are coming from conditional traffic signs
I am getting the amended speed limit signs appear in the HUD in roadworks etc with an orange bar at the bottom
I wasn’t speeding yesterday but might have been the previous time. So maybe this explains the chime tone difference Ie one set of dings for the conditional sign and another different set for exceeding the speed limit?
Trainspotting over
So I rechecked these settings this morning and all of them were back in the "on" position so that's why I'm getting the notifications. I wonder if one of the updates that was sent out recently turned them back on? I know I had those unchecked early on when I first bought the truck.I had this same thing happen on a road trip. Its the notifications from traffic cams, street signs etc....Go into the nav setting and turn of the notification. After doing this I've never heard it again.
