37s Recalibration SoCal

Mind if I ask what the tires, wheels, leveling cost ya all in?
Tires, leveling kit, install and alignment was $2000 all in.

I work for the wheel company...so I got the employee discount.

Just got it done at Knight Claremont RAM if anyone around the area is interested. $145. Took 1hr.
Might take her in tomorrow for the recalibration, also quoted $145 hour to 2 hours for service at Chrysler dodge in Santa Clarita.

@JLM1600 Recalibrated today, service over the phone quoted $145 when I got there they told me $185 and I simply said no lol. I have a text saying $145. They agreed and I asked why the bitch was trying to upcharge me, she said a memo went out and “that’s what we are supposed to charge” I didn’t feel any difference really maybe ever so slightly with shifts but that’s about it. Also had to sign some documents that said it’s only good for 2 months… not sure how the truck could unflash itself I think that’s just boiler plate verbiage maybe.

Thats odd. To be honest I signed something too but didn't pay attention lol…Ill have to take a look now that you mention all this. For me at least the speedometer and mpgs are now back to how they were before the lift and 37s…and doesnt want to stay on 7th gear all the time while cruising at highway speeds.

That aligns with what I think I was feeling, it seems to hold first gear from a stop a tab bit longer now.

Just got back from the dealer to get mine recalibrated. They they mentioned they tried one truck before and couldn’t do it, so there’s no guarantee mine will take it. Mine didn’t take either. The problem is the modules will time out and shut down before the update can apply. Anyone else experience this?

Nope. No issues for me. Went super smooth. 1hr in and out.

Yeah I was told about the 2 month thing, how it was explained to me was, they have 2 months to get the truck flashed not it’s only good for 2 months. It’s on forever, it’s a change made to the sales code of the truck and anytime that VIN gets a reflash or update it will automatically know/apply the recalibration so it never reverts back to stock tire size.

That’s how it was explained to me since I had trouble the first time getting it to flash and had to come back. They wanted to assure me that I’m not out the money and I own the contract but they just need to reach out to Stellatis for help to get it applied.

Got it done yesterday, all is well now. So happy my speedometer is perfect finally.

It’s the “item” if you will to get the recalibration. They call it a service contract, you’re buying the flash file to recalibrate the truck as well as the ability to update your sales code for the truck. It’s a change made to the VIN information for a lack of better terms. So if you get a reflash or update it will automatically know/apply the recalibration so it never reverts back to stock tire size.

I’ve done the Eibach 1.6 and my dealer did the ride height recalibration for me.
I finally was able to get some 37/12.5 Toyo at3’s for my factory rims. Next is to get the service contract and adjust wheel size. Smaller dealer, hoping they can get it done for me!
