2025 RHO
Looking for help from anyone with an RHO that has the "Bed Utility Group" I'm trying to get the actual bed step part number that came on the truck. I looked at several online Mopar warehouses for the step and they all say that neither the step for the TRX #82216278AC or the Rebel #82215289AH fit the 2025 RHO.

Hoping someone can look at theirs and post the actual part number on the step.

Thank you for asking this question. I am looking for the same answer. I bought from Mopar Wholesale Parts and they supposedly confirmed with my VIN that it was part 82216278AC Bed Step-TRX Ram 1500. Of course, as you stated it does not fit.

This is with my vin, which came equipped with the MDN (Factory installed bed step) sales code.

In the Mopar parts catalog...the original factory installed part # was 6883729AB which superseded to 68583729AB, which then superseded to 82216598AC. This part is crazy priced at $650 msrp  The part # you listed, 8221678AC is listed as fitting the TRX from 21-24, and 25 RHO. Its the Mopar accessory part # listed for adding to a vehicle that didn't come with the step. Something there doesn't add up.......

Mopar also lists a 82216597AC as the accessory bed step for non-RHO/Rebel 2025 Ram 1500, and 82216265AB for 1500's with the multifunction tailgate.

Thank you for the additional information! I'll look into the current part number that you shared. Attaching a photo of the part number on the bottom of the step that Mopar wholesale parts said was correct but is not.

Now I need to figure out what to do with the one I bought that was incorrect. They are unwilling to take it back because it's been over 30 days since I purchased. I had bought it just prior to my truck breaking down and having to be in the shop for a month and a half.

Do you still have the box? Is it in really good shape? Send me a pic of the white label and the blue labels to [email protected]
Let me see if I can get authorization to send it back to Stellantis for credit with my regular returns. If they will take it back from me, it may be possible for me to take it as a credit towards the one you need.

Thank you. The box was a mess when I received it but I still have it. I will send you photos this weekend. Are you with the AutoNation at 11200 N Fwy, Fort Worth, TX 76177 by chance? If so, maybe I can just drop by Saturday.

No sir. I'm in Houston.

I will send pictures then this weekend. If it proves to be acceptable then I could probably bring it down and see my son at the same time.

I sent you a PM to the email you provided I appreciate anything you can do for a credit towards the correct part!

Anyone find any after market kits? ~$430 seems excessive for this, and this is the only feature that makes me miss my Ford

There may be some aftermarket options in this thread https://www.ram-rho.com/threads/retractable-bed-step.1569/ . I've only used the OEM on every truck I've owned. The are very robust and I've never had a problem with them. They are ~$400 online, but ~$600 through dealer. Here's pics of my install if you're interested to see what the OEM looks like.

Thanks dude! Looks like I’ll go OEM, did some digging around and seems like the way to go, thanks for the photos that helped!
