Ambient lighting?

ambient - as built in soft lighting from dome and other areas - but not LED or color changing/customizable. I'll post a night pic (Level 1 if there are actually any differences, I dont know)

Thanks!

you'll hear the same from some other guys - but the most "lighting" comes from the 14.5 inch screen - some pics with screen on/off, and with dome/overhead on/off .... and the cool approach lights.

Awesome, thanks!

That is one thing I'm going to really miss from my limited. The ambient lighting is really cool in the limiteds.

I got a crap carpet piece on top of the ram floor mat (don’t ask - those will go away once I get my running boards on)

I was digging into options with my rebel (which doesn’t have ambient) …. YouTube enthusiast Hammerdown Motorsports did a great video showing addition of ambient LED using the mounting points that are actually in all ram models but wow it was a boatload of work to retrofit

Here's an example of the ambient lighting on the center console and passenger side - around the passenger screen, footwell, door release, handle, and pocket. I had the lights set to their dimmest setting, but my camera brightened the image.

Awesome, thanks! Looks great, can you change colors? Looks blue by your center console

Edited: The blue color is from the phone charger indicator. I'm not aware of any means to change the ambient colors.

that little blue LED has some juice to it .... I was initially thinking it was your screen - but it for sure lets you know you are wireless charging

Too bad RAM doesn’t put colored ambient choices in their 70-90k+ trucks…too difficult for them I assume 🥴

There's this tiny little light that I just noticed last night. It's on when the headlights come on. It sheds just a little light down around the cupholder/armrest area.

The look of the light strip on the passenger side non level 1 looks way better. Goes across the entire passenger dash unlike the level 1 with passenger display.
