AMP power running boards issue with RHO

So I purchased “AMP Research PowerStep Plug-N-Play | Fits 2019 - 2024 RAM 1500 | 76240-01A”.

I installed it today, but ran into on major snafu.

The instructions say to plug the 2-pin into the green block at this location. That’s the problem. I don’t think our trucks have this green block.

Any one know where to get signal that the doors have been opened?

I went ahead and put the fuse in and thankfully they retracted from the install/down position to the up position, so they are out of the way. But, they obviously don’t move when the doors open since they aren’t connected to the 2-pin sensor.

So my dealer ran into this issue when he tried to install the 2024 mopar power running board on a 2025 RHO.. he installed it and went to hook it up and found out the wiring harness is completely different on the 2025s.

I had him order me some boards as well with install and they had to order 2025.

These trucks are “ identical “ to TRX until it comes to some of the technology. Same issue with the Tazer DT, they work on rams 2019-2024.. some stuff really can’t be reused from 2024.

I am eager to learn how this problem is solved. I want these for my RHO which I will get on 1/13.

and the 2025 version seems to be on backorder everywhere. I requested my dealership order me a pair but have yet to hear anything back.

There is no “2-pin” connection location on the 2025. You need a different harness.
