I took advantage of the slight Memorial Day savings and ordered Softopper, solid rear window, dog window cutout and new harness for pup. Also been sitting on roles of tint and wrap.

Anyone else pre-delivery ordering in anticipation or am I special brand of ridiculous?

I guess I’ll use your thread to ask, as I have been looking at TRX parts sales recently:

Will the RHO be the exact identical 1500 TRX body? I know it may be a silly question, but I would hate to buy some non-returnable stuff if we later find out there are slight changes to the chassis 😫

The front end is definitely different. The overall length is different whether that’s accounted for in the change in front end design I don’t know.

You do your own tints/wraps?

Indeed. I'm a perfectionist, the only way I know it's done right is doing it meself plus I hate when installers break clips, or muck about and I am forced to endure the rattle drive of shame. I also have an AI piloted drone and a full studio worth of video and audio equipment so I will likely have some folks over and do a tutorial and post on the interweb. Not sure how helpful it will be as I'm doing HD wrap and install is considerably different than traditional PPF but I will be doing it outside in open air which will add an extra level of excitement. (Garage is too short for truck and it's otherwise occupied by my shop equipment.

To my eye they look identical, but I have been reaching out to vendors before placing orders.

-I don't have definitive information here BUT I did reach out to Bestop/Softopper before I ordered my Softopper and they advised me the bed and dimensions are identical to 24 TRX.

-The amount of wrap required will be similar same as they are dimensionally identical from everything I've read and been told.

-Prinsu says the TRX roof rack is compatible as well.

-I haven't heard an affirmative on seat covers so I'll be waiting until I get confirmation. I'd imagine that Rebel seats are same but dunno with any degree of certainty.

-Aftermarket bumpers are a big swing and a miss because of the sensors, radar thingy and maybe intercooler (guessing).

-TRX side stuff and sport bar should be compatible but...

The best advice is reach out to manufacturers and see what they know. Some of them have seen the vehicle in person or have seem to have some tech data.

Could you share some links / ideas for the “solid rear window, dog window cutout and new harness for pup”?

Saw this on a TRX last week. Looked very nice. Clean, with no visible rubber/vinyl exposed weather stripping on the sides. The metal panels looked especially well-finished.

I know the BakFlip MX4 comes highly recommended from people who know. I see the advantage to having it open fully against the cab. But, not sure it looks as nice as the WeatherTech.

Any feedback or experience with either product is welcome!
