That’s a concern of mine too. I wonder why the tow rating is so low. The engine , trans and frame are strong enough. Guessing it’s the tires and soft suspension.TFL said they are going to release their tow video this weekend. I haven't gotten my truck but have been eyeing up the Timber Grove airbags to help with the squat since its prob going to be significant.
That’s interesting. I guess we never towed in the mountains so I can’t compare. We towed our Trans Am from Illinois to Texas on a uhaul trailer and no issues. And we use it to tow our 4500 lb boat without issue. We average about 12-13mpg towing.Well I can say this much about my 2023 Limited Hemi, I absolutely HATED towing my enclosed single axle trailer with probably about 1000lbs in it. My truck, hauling from Denver to DFW, was absolutely horrible. It had barely enough power to get up hills in Colorado, I would floor it and the truck would never go. Keep in mind, I’m coming from an F250 which is a beast, but I expected the RAM HEMI to perform better, but it was such a let down. Never again. The I6 is so much more powerful!

Unfortunately, if you’re worried about towing, I believe you’ll still be gravely disappointed. There is just no comparison to a 3/4 ton. I know there are plenty of people that tow with 1/2 ton trucks and think it’s great, if they were to hook up with a 3/4 ton they would hate their 1/2 ton. Horsepower isn’t all that goes into towing, I would rather tow anything with my 3/4 ton ram than with my TRX and there is no comparison in HP.Well I can say this much about my 2023 Limited Hemi, I absolutely HATED towing my enclosed single axle trailer with probably about 1000lbs in it. Oh I don’t tow anything heavy, that was my point, the HEMI really struggled to do basic towing, me and my buddy were surprised at how weak the truck is. But yes to your point, my F250 could pull an entire house lol.Unfortunately, if you’re worried about towing, I believe you’ll still be gravely disappointed. There is just no comparison to a 3/4 ton. Pretty much what we should have expected. I'll prob be going with the Timber Groves shortly after the truck arrives. Most I tow is 6k-ish, but its an aluminum enclosed trailer so I can't use a WDH, not ideal.they posted RHO towing Ike (I-70 Denver at elevation -
