Anyone else have an issue where automatic high beams will not enable high beams in rain? Best guess is the reflection makes it think there's an oncoming vehicle?

Really fucking annoying and dangerous that you can't override that without going through Uconnect screens in inclement weather when, you know, you might actually need it.

I’ve disabled auto high beams. In my area with typical traffic, they cycle between high & low beam waaaaay too much. It’s distracting. Living in PHX (rarely rains), I haven’t experienced your issue.

I know Ram can do better. The auto high/low system in our former 2014 Grand Cherokee was perfect. The system in my wife’s Tesla is perfect.

Can you not manually engage them like someone in a peasant truck?🤣

You can, but that requires you to have disabled auto in the Uconnect settings. The best time to try to find that is not when it's pissing rain and you can't see anything with the low beams on.

If Ram had actually thought about it, the stalk would have three positions: low, high, auto.

I probably will disable them from now on. Just another "feature" we paid for but can learn to live without.

Got ya, was not thinking that in this truck you push the stalk forward for high beams and that only puts it in auto when setup in uconnect
