I was wondering is anyone with knowledge of stellantis or someone who works in the auto industry knows what any of this means? My truck shows it was shipped on December 28th and it’s supposedly here in Texas, just sitting on the shipping yard. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Couldn’t tell you, that’s what my salesman sent me. He’s been very helpful and I fully understand that it’s out of their control, so I’m not salty. I’m glad he’s being transparent, and in doing so, he sent me that screenshot. Guess I just gotta be patient 🤷🏻‍♂️

As far as I can tell, your truck left the plant on 12/27 and headed to the body vendor. It left there on 12/28 and hit the BNSF rail yard in Alliance Texas on 1/4. And has probably sat there ever since.

It seems to be pretty common for them to sit in railyard for an unspecified amount of time and rarely any rhyme or reason as to which leaves for dealers.

I feel your pain though, so close and nobody seems to have any control for this part of process. Mine sat for 10-20 days, couldn't say for sure because I didn't have any way to follow it. Some folks here have theirs sitting because of dead batteries and such with no timelines for resolution. Patience and alcohol will win the day ;)

I appreciate the response! My issue was that they offered me a good amount for my trade in, and it’s almost gonna be a month, and I don’t want them to say that since I drove it X amount of miles since the original offer, they will lower the trade in value. My salesman assured me they wouldn’t but you never know

Valid concern. I hope you get yours tomorrow and dealer holds true. I hate dealing with trade-in nonsense and generally opt for a private party, carmax or carvana to avoid getting upset later.

Did they give you anything in writing showing your trade value?

Bottom line, the salesman and sales manager will not look for ways to kill the deal. At least that’s been my experience with regard to trade values.

They did, and that’s the amount I took to Navy Federal to get the pre approval check. Thanks for the reply!

Completely unrelated, it’s already been covered multiple times but wanna throw it out the for anyone reading this, if you’re gonna finance, Navy Federal is definitely worth checking out!
