Has anyone else noticed that sometimes when reading texts it goes through all the speakers and other times its only the left front and very low audio even if it's turned all the way up?

At least on Android Auto, it goes through the left front only when the assistant is responding to something (ie "Ok, playing Metallica on YouTube Music")

The volumes are all independently controllable though.

usually if your phone microphone is on. like if you’re recording a video

I noticed something odd with Car play this weekend. It happened twice since I got the truck in December. There was no audio coming from the left front speaker while my iPhone 15 was using car play. I was playing XM Sirius and the sound was off. I played with the balance and realized the front left speaker was not putting out any sound. As soon as I disconnected my phone the sound came back on. It has done it twice. I checked my phone and it was idle, no texts, no call and no notifications. Very odd, it was like the car play was waiting for the phone to do something.

Mine is super quiet when my phone is reading like a text or something like that. That’s even with the volume all the way up for that.

Mine also only reads texts ect from the left front speaker and never from all the speakers. Also for those with low volumes you should try and turn the volume knob when you are listening to the text up and see if that helps. That is also how you adjust nav volume
