Cats misfire & thermostat?

Probably rental car vehicles running 87 octane and trying to set land speed records. 87 octane when it needs 91 will result in knock events, ignition retard, and much higher EGT's. Alfa QV's were 2.9L TT making 505bhp on premium...and they're capable of almost 600bhp tuned. But they probably dont do great on 87 octane. *EDIT* this guy is very obnoxious.
