What happened at Sema

I'll keep it short. I thought we were supposed to see a tuner at Sema?!?

I doubt we'll see ANYTHING from Direct Connect, MOPAR or Stellantis at all for the RHO. Seems they're putting all their eggs in the Hemi/Rumblebee basket and kicking us to the curb. Truck's been on the market for two years now and we've seen fuck all. Rumblebee isn't even out yet and they've got a supercharger kit for the 5.7 and who knows what all else. I'm not holding my breath

Yup me too, big bummer. If it makes everyone feel better there wont be anything other than a piggy back tune for a while as the aftermarket crowd has not been able to crack the encription which will also Impact all of the Rumble bee and TRX trucks. Thus in the short/medium term everything will have to come through Direct Connection for power mods. Which they are doing on Rumble bee/TRX...as it was stuff that was developed from prior generation and just impemented into the new gen stuff.

I overheard somethings we would all like, but no one would give me anything official (Yet)

What I can say is the Reusable air filter I did a video on last year is now in fact a real thing through Mopar. I have been testing this for several months now, and can now finally share that its out. Site should be updated soon as to how you can purchase it.

I am not giving up the faith on the RHO or Hurricane as there a was milestone that needed to happen first prior to next steps with Mopar/direct connection. Use your imagination on this but will have a video up next week that will make more sense.

your not wrong but all the stuff on rumble bee being released was an easy DC option as it was stuff released years ago prior to new gen trucks...not much development required to implement this into the 27+ trucks. All the Hurricane stuff takes new R&D to bring to market. See my other comment too

Ram really did us wrong with all the hype, and then crickets. I’ll even go one further Tim Kuniskis did us wrong. When he took over he put the hurricane on the back porch. I know why he did it, it drove sales up. Fine bring back the hemi for everyone that cried for it. Personally I think it was a bad move. Three models of Rumble bee and several upgrade packages for V8’s was unnecessary. Counter productive to the new technology. He could have just brought out the SRT platforms, and held off on all the $10,000 kits for them. Kept moving forward with the Hurricane offerings, and let it prove its self. It really wouldn’t have been hard to release the air filter a year ago. Let’s face it a tune with a bump in throttle response, a bump in 8hp75 line pressure, and 50 or 60 hp would have been incredibly easy. Then everyone would be happy.

Can you say if the resuseable air filter is worth it or not?
