I have been reading a ton of posts about Florida residents having an issue purchasing a Mopar warranty. Has anyone in Florida purchased one yet for their RHO??

Following - I have the same question. I know that Florida is one of the few states not listed as an option when trying to purchase the waranty online

Had one from Ziegler for Challenger, they sell to Florida. Not looking for RHO yet as it's going to be under warranty for a while

Doesnt the price go up the longer you wait? I've always bought from the dealer so I'm not too familiar with it. So you're going to wait until you get closer to the end of your factory warranty?

I don't think the price difference will be that significant.. I actually bought it when I was out of warranty already, when I had 45k miles if I remember correctly. Never used it either, car had just one repair which was one seal on the engine and it happened at 129k (warranty was until 125k). Still runs strong at 139k now, but with RHO I'm going to be more cautious, we don't really know how good the engine is long term.

Grainger gave everyone a big scare last year that they were going to have to re-process florida warranties, but in the end changed their mind and said the existing warranties were okay.

This is a Florida problem - Florida legislates extended warranties (service contracts) like insurance, so has specific regulation around them.

Not that I would ever do it, but a friend of mine has ordered a dozen extended warranties for Mopar, Toyota, and Honda vehicles - and to be safe just gives them an address in a different state with a friend of HIS. To really round out the paperwork you can call later to update your address after moving back to Florida, but he doesn't think that's really necessary. :)
