Oh this could be fun . . . . I cannot confirm nor deny that if you call the GSM and tell him a knock knock joke, you'll get a free cup of coffee when you pick up the truck
But for real, our business model is to put our best price first on a factory order, rather than giving the customer a higher $ first and "hoping they don't say the secret password." We can just simply get a LOT more work done that way. There are a lot of dealers who compete with us but you have to ask for the right person, knock three times rapidly, only on Tuesdays, etc etc.... if that works for them, so be it.
Now as it relates to RAM, it is not always obvious to customers, to make sure you check qualification on affiliate, military, first responder, and potential TDM coupons.
AFFILIATE - TONs of companies qualify, more than I would have expected.
List located here:
https://www.fcausaffiliates.com/content/dam/affiliate-rewards/pdf/FCA-AR-CompaniesList.pdf
This gets you another 1% off your order with Mark Dodge
If you don't have an affiliate employee in the house, you can join treadlightly.org I believe there's a whole entire thread about that. There are some specifications in that you need to be eligible on the USAGE date of the rebates, which can either be date of order or date of delivery.
MILITARY- this is validated by RAM not the dealership here: https://www.ramtrucks.com/incentives/military-incentive.html
- 100% disabled
- Active duty
- Retired after 20Y
- Recently (12mo) honorably discharged
FIRST RESPONDER - this is validated by RAM not the dealership here: https://www.ramtrucks.com/incentives/first-responder.html
- Police
- Fire
- EMT
TDMs
These are the digital "targeted direct mailer" that you can get on the ram site while browsing, again there's a whole thread on this.
DEALER DISCOUNT IS WHAT THE DEALER DECIDES TO DISCOUNT THE VEHICLE, AND SHOULD NOT BE EFFECTED BY OTHER RAM REBATES!
AFFILIATE SALES MUST BE NO MORE THAN THE AFFILIATE PRICE ON THE BUILD SHEET, BUT DEALER CAN DECIDE HOW MUCH FURTHER TO GO BELOW THAT.
