So I ordered my RHO March 1st. I really haven't heard anything from the dealership yet on when it will be built. I can't wait to get it, watching YouTube videos on the truck. But then I see this forum with all the issues and it scares me. I own a Ram Badlander that was built during covid and seems like nothing but problems, and when I sen this truck I was like I want this. I hoping that I get this and I don't have to continue to visit the dealership. Thouhhts?

I was thinking the same thing but many people make a good point... Usually people go online to complain. It's rare that they jump on to say YES I AM HAVING NO PROBLEMS!! Just doesn't happen as much. I think if you looked at the actual percentage of issues in regards to the amount of trucks that RAM has built you have pretty good odds that you're going to have a good experience.

Quick story also - don't believe everything you read. I remember when the 2.0 Turbo motor came out in the Jeep Wrangler. My wife ordered one and I kept seeing one poster on the forum bashing the motor and saying they have had nothing but problems. It sucked to see that because it made us keep second guessing. Come to find out the guy didn't even have the 2.0 like he claimed and he didn't even have a JL wrangler. He was just a guy with a JK that hated the fact that jeep put a 2.0 4 cyl turbo in a wrangler lol he was exposed and shows how weird people are. That said we have had that Jeep for 4 years now with zero issues. Just food for thought.

I ordered my truck end of August and just got the call today that Mark Dodge received it. It's been a long wait but I am very excited. Obviously some people have had issues with their trucks but at the end of day it's all a crapshoot. Every brand of trucks is going to have issues there is no getting around that. You will find some people who swear by and love each brand; Ford, GMC, Toyota, Stellantis, Chevy, etc. and others who had issues with them and vow to never buy another again. Hopefully you don't have any issues but if you do that's what the warranty is for.

Welcome. Far more trucks are problem free than have issues. Get comfortable with the tracker and check it hourly like we all have and when your day comes, enjoy your truck.

It will all work out! it may take a while still, but you will love the truck once you have it. Things can always pop up especially with a new model. I just turned 1,000 miles and no problems1 Knock on Wood! Please let us know what the specs were you ordered.

You’ll hear much more about problems than good things on these types of forums. Just the nature of the beast. And I think several of the people with the biggest problems (cats melting/engine hydro locking) said they loved the truck so much they’d still buy it again. No vehicle is perfect, and they never will be.

All good here so far. There are some people unfortunately having legitimate issues and there are some "issues" in here that were brought up and it was just a setting or user error as well. I'm still going through the settings and finding out new things, there's a lot of tech.

Thanks for that, my wife has the 2.0l and the same here no issues. Just need to trust it will be all good whenever it gets here.

Well worried I get truck like I currently have, that I had to take back to the dealership multiple times. Just would like to have a truck and enjoy it, not work around scheduling appointments for service.

Do you have a land rover?

Never, 2021 Ram 1500 Badlander. Built by Tuscany Motor Co. Love the truck but it's a covid truck it seems like everything continues to need to be replaced. Had some issues with the aftermarket suspension and that's just a pain dealing with that. And a lot of factory issues.

You have nothing to be scared about. Those that had issues, like myself, have been very minor issues. As stated earlier, every brand of vehicle you get will have some sort of minor issue whether it’s something simple with the radio, loose wiring or something small with the motor/hoses itself, guaranteed you won’t go bad with the ram.

This truck is exactly what people say it is on the street, a beast. I’ve had many compliments while driving here in south Florida although I do like raptors, you can’t compare power for power or looks/feel of this thing.

Be glad you were able to pull the trigger on an RHO. Not everyone can come close to owning one and when yours arrives, you’re going to thank yourself every day you stuck with it

Bought mine in N Carolina and drove it home. 1,000 miles on it and nary an issue. Love the truck.

You need to remember must people post when they are complaining or selling.

I'm at 5,000 miles without any problems whatsoever. I am super happy I traded in my Raptor; the RHO is so much fun to drive and loaded with tech.
