Failed Smog first time, then passed at 660 miles

Mine failed a pre-smog test at 480 miles in California. It pulled two red lights. I talked to an employee for GMC that was checking a new Sierra that pulled four red lights. I learned from him it goes four to two then off. I'm reading the messages and plan on driving it a couple hundred more miles and make sure its nice and warm when I take it to get for a smog check again.

I had the same issue, mine failed the smog test at 909 miles was charged $75 for the failed test. Took it to the dealership and was told basically the same thing to put at least 400 miles more on it (Which I already did). I'm afraid to take it and be charged again and not pass smog test.

Mine passed, it needs 15 warm up and cool down cycles and 400 miles apparently, reseting a CEL or unplugging the terminal resets the counter. Mine passed with 660 miles and I was able to monitor thr warm up and cool down cycles with a OBDII reader. I failed twice but went to a place that smog multiple times until you pass if you work on whatever issue you have.

Mine passed although it pulled a invalid diata received from brake system control module U0418 permanent. Mark' Dodge Ram came through just received my California plates

I have the same code, it has to be a glitch since a lot of people are reporting it.

Too many module problems on these trucks.

I know that before Carlos T left Stellantis, there was a big push to keep all product in double digit percentage profit…I read that Stellantis thinned out production staff & also squeezed suppliers for lowest cost of components.

I wonder if those moves affected the quality of the modules installed in these trucks? Or, are they just getting too complex?
