This morning, all the safety systems shut down, and the odometer numbers are flashing. No traffic sign recognition, no collision avoidance, its all out. Tells me I need service immediately.

Secondly, the Infotainment screen would not come on, radio played, A/C worked (both were on already), but the screen was off/dead. This happened as I left work yesterday, then again today, as I left for the dealership.

The screen comes back to life as the truck interior cools down. It's already in the high 80s to low 90s here, so I think the screen is throwing a heat fault until the A/C cools it down enough to work again.

Dropping it off for service on Monday morning.

Wow man I’m sorry to hear about that. Hopefully it’s a simple fix

Fiat based electrical architecture & components are proving to be quite a challenge in these trucks.

When my batteries went bad, my screen wouldn’t come on either, but the radio would play. Hopefully that’s all you need.

Just checked the voltage.

It was running a steady 13.8.

Not sure if that's good or bad, I've never paid that close of attention to the actual numbers for the battery issues detailed here.

How did you check? If you’re just using the truck reading it may only show good surface voltage. Under a load they may fail.

Also, I went through and pushed all my fuses all the way in. A lot of them were barely in.

Under the dash, hood**, or both?

** I'll need to wait until she cools down, it's 92° here

I just started it.

I only checked under the hood, but at least 5-6 were loose. I totally get it. It’s 96° here today lol

My dealership was cool and just warrantied both. Some dealers will just charge them if they don’t fail a load test, which is dumb.

My average running voltage is somewhere around 13.3-13.8. Once in a while it will display over 14v on a downhill with no acceleration.

Counted 8 loose fuses. Meaning, I could push them down until they almost clicked into place. Didn't solve any of the truck's issues.

Have the truck's voltage display on the instrument cluster. My handheld meter is DOA, guess I'll be buying one in the near future.

When I start the truck, it reads around 11.1 to 11.3, then quickly moves up to 13.7/13.8.

Seems like normal voltage drop for start up. I’m out of ideas. lol

Or, one other thing I tried that worked long enough to get me to the dealer was disconnecting both negative terminals for like 10 minutes to reset everything.

It runs fine.

It's all the driving assistance "stuff" that doesn't work right now.

Dropping her off for service tomorrow morning...

Dropped the truck off this morning.

I noticed the voltage dropping to 11.9-12.2 when waiting at a light with the auto start/stop active. It seems low to me, but I have no idea if it is.

I’d tell the dealer you already had to charge them after they died. They can “force fail” them for warranty sake.

I just got a call from my service coordinator.

The Trailer Braking Module is faulty and shuts down the Collision Avoidance Systems, including the Anti-Lock and Cruise Control Systems.

There is a fault with one of the Infotainment Screen modules, too.

All will be replaced this week, and I should have the truck back on Monday or Tuesday.

The service coordinator called me today.

The module for the Infotainment screen is taking longer than expected. (Sucker is over $5000!!)

Looks like they will have her most of next week while we wait...
