Flashing Odometer?

I hopped in to take the Minions to school and headed to work this morning, and the odometer was flashing??

The flashing odometer is gone.
I had to make a trip to a different building on campus (I work at a college).
When I started the truck, the odometer was solid.

Do I still need to go to my service appointment?

Had the exact same thing occur with mine. After a few starts it went away and has never come back. I would just leave it alone unless it comes back.

My Wrangler Rubicon does this sometimes and always fixes itself within the day.

Yup mine did it last night. Went outta town and flashed all the way back home. Shut the truck off and was gone the next morning.

I would pull the fault codes at the dealer and see if any modules are having communication faults which would result in this behavior.

Same thing happened on a 25 Rebel X today, 1400 miles, been like that for a few days so I googled hoping for a simple fix and came up with this:

• Check that fuses are seated properly. Checked that. Some were not. Did not resolve the issue.

AI suggested:

  Some forums suggest trying to reboot the car by disconnecting the battery, but this might not always resolve the issue.

That fixed it in my case. Disconnected main and aux to reboot everything. I don't know what threw it off. Was cool to find out that the vehicle setting were retained in memory.

This happened to me today. Shut the truck off and back on then it stopped flashing. Continued on with my errands around town and all was fine.

I got this as well. I’m at 4600 miles and I have a JB4 installed. We will see if it comes back leaking after my destination. I do feel like the software updated because I noticed some changes.

Just noticed my dash was blinking all night, I saw on my security cameras that the dash is constantly blinking. Took a video I'll post here. Anyone else here have this going on? Is it normal? Or is it already time to take it in? Just got the truck yesterday. Never mind on the video, says the file is to large. But if any others can answer this question id appreciate it. Thanks

I just noticed it when I sow the post. I will wait for few days and see what will happen. Otherwise, I will take it to the garage.
