Anyone know how to turn off the horn chirp when you lock the doors with the fob, and more importantly the horn chirp with the remote start? I mostly use the remote start early in the mornings to warm truck up. My neighbors (and my dog) don't want to hear that while they are sleeping.

that's exactly how I would like it to work, but I have searched thru settings and can't find any options

Should be under settings then doors and locks.

ok I am an idiot. Ram put it in the logical place, and I thought I looked there several times last night, but some reason never saw it. Thanks Neboysa for pointing me back to the same screens, found them easily this time.

careful - you may be on the way to your RAM PHD .... these things are complex and there are 7 ways to get to the same settings

The setting that bugs me is the three horn honks if I get out of the truck with my keys in my pocket and the truck is still on. Happens in my garage daily. Drives me nuts.

It started on the HD Rams, my 2022 3500 has it and it is so annoying. Last I checked on the HD forums there was no easy way to disable it, some even went as far as to disconnect the horn. Basically it is letting everyone know you are getting out of the truck and it is running. Most guys have been not closing the door all the way.

5th gen forum has been talking about this for years.

Great thread! At the moment the features I'm struggling with are the side view camera when blinker is activated, this drives me crazy there's mirrors for this this, and morning start up that the seats and climate don't turn on automatically, my GMC senses temp and turns seats, steering wheel and heat or a/c on accordingly. I know it's all in the setting I just haven't figured in out yet! Truck is super nice though!

I believe you can adjust that in the settings under seats and comfort. My 2021 Rebel has that and if it’s I believe 80 degrees or higher it automatically turns on ventilated seats.. a certain degree also turns n the heated feature. RHO should have that setting as well

An annoying workaround to defeat the three honks is to hold the key fob near the driver's side window when closing the door.
