25 RAM RHO
I keep hearing everybody saying how smooth it its, best truck they ever drove etc. but mine drives super stiff. it seems like i can feel every road imperfection in my seat. big pot holes etc are good, truck bounces back and fort and its comfortable, but tiny road imperfections especially on concrete roads there is so much chatter its super annoying. I also never owned lifted truck with tires like that (prev was regular laramie and bmw x5). so maybe its just me?

Try Baja suspension and rock steering..that's the most comfortable cruising setup IMO.

i tried all of them, i dont think there is any difference.. maybe even stiffer in sport suspension. im talking about tiny bumps. the big ones are alright. i also lowered PSI from 42 to 38

Ok. Well unless your truck is defective sounds like you just need to get used to it. Mine feels pretty smooth to me, but it's subjective

Not being smart, but sounds like a Raptor would suit you much better. I had a Raptor and it soaks everything up but at the cost of riding like a boat on wheels. It's very floaty. But if you like a ride that's super plush and absorbs all the imperfections, that's your truck.

I personally like a stiffer suspension with minimal body roll. So the RHO is the antidote to everything I didn't like about my Raptor.

Now i just need to see less problematic and broke down threads and more positive ones to give me the confidence to place an order for a 26'.

Gen3 raptor was smoother on regular roads for me. Best riding truck I've ever been in on normal roads, actually. Having said that I prefer my rho, and I'll trade off the stiffer ride for all the comforts I get.

I feel the same.. the truck is very smooth and sometimes you feel like you are in an SUV, but those small road imperfections will remind you that it's still a frame truck.. BTW I'm also running 44psi in tires (came like this from MD), maybe you run the same?

I’m coming from a leveled 2020 Ram 1500, which was absolutely stiffer than it was in stock form.

This RHO borders too soft for me… in Baja especially. It soaks up the bumps so there is no jarring, but afterwards I feel like it bounces 3-6 times before resettling. I’m somewhere in between Sport and Street, but the rebound control in all of them could be better IMO.

Still, I love it, but it feels extremely soft without a good way to control rebound. It’s really very far away from feeling “too stiff” to me.

Agreed...street is soft, bouncy like an 80s Cadillac. I think Sport is best for most uses, although I do leave it on Street when I'm on those Oklahoma back roads full of pot holes! 😵‍💫

Ive had Mercedes, Range Rover, Aston, McLaren, Escalade, and had a rebel 1500 and 2500 ram.

The RHO rides pretty damn luxurious. Maybe something is wrong with yours?
i went in to the dealer today to drive another RHO and it drives the same. so i guess its RHO thing. also im coming from BMW x5 m60. so i might have "luxury" ass. but seeing your list, im suspicious, NO WAY it drives better than Escalade or Rover, i do not believe you, unless they were 100k beaters. because i drove my friends 24 defender is much more comfortable on road imperfections/road chatter (smooth new asphalt road they are the same)

havent driven mclaren, but obviously its a sport super car sitting low so yeah it would drive worse.

Ok…extreme car guy here…driven just about everything from AMC Pacer to Porsches 911 to Acura NSX to Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham to BMW M3 to Sentra SER to Corvette Z06 to 3rd Gen Raptor & more.

The RHO rides like a pickup on 35s with performance off-road shocks.

It’s NOT designed to ride “floaty” over minor road imperfections. It’s not a Cadillac luxo-barge. If it was, it would never handle 3’ whoops at 50MPH. It would never handle jumps with tires over a foot off the road surface without bottoming upon landing. It could never be driven at highway speeds down bombed out dirt roads without breaking apart.

Here’s the thing….RHO (or any “Baja wanna-be” pickup) is a popular image machine. Are we poseurs?:
Yes…let’s be honest..few of us cross the desert in competition races.

And, we gotta live with what that brings:
A slightly uncomposed ride on “normal” roads where us poseurs we spend 99% of our time.

Sorry…but it’s true.

I never said drives better. I said it drives luxurious (comfortable)
It’s very soft. Doesn’t take bumps hard at all. In fact it feels almost too soft but that makes sense since it’s built for extreme off road conditions.
But it drives very comfortable to me and is definitely on the luxury end of things for pickup trucks.
example, my wife’s Range Rover drives “better.” But I prefer the RHO for a long highway drive and so does she.

That's not what he said. Try again.

also guys for the record, im not trying to bash RHO, i do love my truck. i jus thave PTSD about something being wrong with it, since i had a check engine light on the first 50 miles on my drive back (it was communication codes, which all went to STORED) so nothing serious YET. also i feel better after driving another RHO today, i dont want it to be extremly comfy or anything i was more like looking confirmation so its not only mine, since on youtube etc i only hear "OMG AMAZING RIDE" reviews, and im like well mine is ok/good, but def not amazing, i do understand its heavy lifted truck with beefy tires. so all good.

Do yourself a huge favor and drop your cold tire pressure down to 38 psi as recommended in your driver side door jamb. You are going to wear your tires out prematurely in the center of the tread, and you will also be surprised at how much better it rides at the proper pressures.

They set the pressures higher than called for when transporting the trucks. Mark Dodge should set the pressures to 38 cold psi when doing the PDI, but I don’t think they do that. To be fair, I don’t believe most dealers do it.

I run 34-35 cold psi in mine. You’d be surprised at the difference in your contact patch at this pressure versus your overinflated tires. 👊🏼

Welcome to the lifted truck life lol. The RHO definitely rides better than a lifted Limited Ram.

i mentioned somwhere above that i dropped it to 38, but also door sticker says 40.
