What the difference between handing the valet your fob vs the key card? Not being a smart ass. Seriously wondering if there is a specific advantage? The card is designated for ballet parking, so you won't need to give your key fob. It's not meant for continuous use.
My wife’s BMW has the Phone as Key, and it works really nice. Basically, the phone is just like your key fob. No need to take it out of pocket to enter the car or start it.I may have a setting wrong, but remote started (app)truck with key fob inside. Tried to unlock with the app but kept saying it failed. Thankfully had the keycard in my wallet and was able to unlock. Easy enough to throw it in your wallet for a just incase. Waiting for the remote key app to be released and hopefully you don't need to take your phone out of your pocket.
Key Card is easy to keep in your wallet. Use the phone key for every day, and the card key in emergencies.
