Instructions are right on the card if I remember correctly. Place it in the phone charger spot and turn on ignition without cranking over the truck.Anybody know how to activate key card
Hey @Dan G where was your Key Card? I just took delivery of my RHO this morning and I couldn't find a key card anywhere in the truck.Instructions are right on the card if I remember correctly. Place it in the phone charger spot and turn on ignition without cranking over the truck.
It was in the center console.. maybe ask your dealer to get you one if it’s missing. My wife had a Tesla and with her car you were able to program any universal devise. Rings, bracelets, key fobs etc. wondering if it’s the same thing with this system. Would be cool to just have a ring as backup to unlock truck.Hey @Dan G where was your Key Card? I reached out to Anthony over at MD on the missing Key Card. I'm with you on programming some spares, I'll probably look into that myself. I programmed a ring for access to my office (ProxCard II) and I loved the convenience of not having to pull out a badge to get around in the building. Especially if you were carrying stuff! It was in the center console.. maybe ask your dealer to get you one if it’s missing. I don't think base has a key card or at least when I inspected my base model never saw it. My level 1 had a card.
Thanks to both of you, I wasn't aware that the Base didn't come with the Key Card. @Joe86 here is the charging pad, but maybe you were just confirming L0 vs L1 when you asked? Can you take a pic of your wireless charger?
Yes sir, I just wanted to confirm. Congrats on your truck and have funThanks to both of you, I wasn't aware that the Base didn't come with the Key Card. @Joe86 here is the charging pad, but maybe you were just confirming L0 vs L1 when you asked?
I'm bound and determined to figure out a way to have a Key Card work. Knew the phone as a key was a L1 deal, but thought the Key Card would be on Base as well.As far as I’m aware lvl 0 doesn’t have a card/phone as key feature.
I’m guessing it’s not on L1 because my wife’s Tesla had phone as key and cards to enter. I guessing it’s the same system that reads cards as key and work with phone as key. I don’t think that is different hardware. At least every car I’ve seen that had a card, also had a phone as key feature together.. But let me know if you find out a definite answerI'm bound and determined to figure out a way to have a Key Card work. Mine was in the owners manual stack of stuff.Hey @Dan G where was your Key Card? I just took delivery of my RHO this morning and I couldn't find a key card anywhere in the truck.
Kinda sad they got cheap and don’t have the dual charger for level 0. But I guess it’s one of those ways to try to get people to level up?Thanks to both of you, I wasn't aware that the Base didn't come with the Key Card. @Joe86 here is the charging pad, but maybe you were just confirming L0 vs L1 when you asked?
I mean yeah but when paying for level 1, there’s gotta be obvious perksKinda sad they got cheap and don’t have the dual charger for level 0. But I guess it’s one of those ways to try to get people to level up?

It probably won't be 'easy', but it'll be a nice side project. Maybe Tazer, Alpha OBD, or someone will come out with a way to add that function with a little ingenuity. Look forward to putting this thing through its paces, interior fit & finish seems great - panel gaps and alignment not so much. Especially the hood/A-pillar area and the tailgate being set to the right. It just kisses/rubs the bedside when opening and closing it. I'll see if it can be addressed quickly. Love the truck though, my 3rd Billet Silver Ram so I must dig it. I keep going back to it like a crazy ex-girlfriend...I’m guessing it’s not on L1 because my wife’s Tesla had phone as key and cards to enter.
