Order processed by Koons on December 11 and RHO shows built on December 28th. Much sooner than I had expected.
Now for the shipping, we'll see how that goes, fingers crossed.

Nice! Congrats. My last order from Mark Dodge took 3 weeks and 3 days from order date to being on a train. Pretty quick. 👍

Cool story. I ordered from Koons June 20th and still haven't been scheduled, Ram really has their shit together.
Ouch.... Sorry it's taking a bit longer brother. Time to re-order? Any unusual option choices?
I went fairly basic; black, level 1, bed group, running boards, engine heater and that's it. I wanted the on board power option, but they said not available to order at this time.
I'm thinking the basic order might have moved it along more quickly.

Right, mine was ordered May 7th. I have been stuck in production for 2 1/2 months now. Been at the body vendor since Nov 7th. There have been trucks ordered and shipped while mine has been in production. Almost weary about what could possibly be wrong.

Does Koon’s have a policy to return your deposit after a reasonable time if you want to move on with life?

Here’s mine….already bought another unit, but still following my original order…you know, for fun!

That is so messed up I can't even fathom. I also ordered from Koon's. I honestly don't believe its the dealers fault. From their standpoint I don't know why they wouldn't want to close the sale if they could instead of negative PR especially with how social media is today. Ram needs to step it up. It sucks. Hang in there.

Is there an option to to cancel the order and place another? Anything unusual about your build out?

All The Way!

Yeah I don't blame Koons and it's not the OPs choice his happened so fast, just crazy how Ram does all this. I haven't looked into the deposit refund time from Koons but if it's around 9months I'll probably end up getting it back and walking.

Interesting. My build is very similar to the OPs, but I added a sunroof and the red accents on the seats. Hopefully the red seat trim isn't a sticking point . . .

Agreed that it's definitely not Koons fault, it's in their best financial interest to have our orders filled quickly. I'm in the automotive industry and I can definitely speak to supply chain issues on some of the darndest things. One minute your supplier is on time and in business and the next, they've got a delay on some widget they need, or worse, they go belly up.

It's a domino effect and ultimately it trickles down and leads to upset customers. It would be more palatable if there was greater transparency on what the actual cause of the delay was. We could then change, or move on from delayed orders.
