LOVE my new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO

I was very close to pulling the trigger on said truck at Jim Butler, until they upped the price by $7K at the last minute. I had email confirmation from the Internet Sales Manager that the number on their website was accurate, but was then told the number was a mistake, and "we all make mistakes". I decided not to do business with them. Very much felt like a bait and switch.

I just wanted to say it was not on this said truck. This "said" truck was a custom order for the customer. It was not on our web site at any point of time. You may of been looking at a very similar truck, we had 5 stock orders at one time. These 5 stock orders sold within 3 days. You may of taken too long to put a deposit on the vehicle. I had several customers that waited a day to make up their mind, and when they called back, the truck was gone. One of our newer salesmen may of made a mistake on giving you the wrong price, I don't know, but I know that I don't bait and switch. My email is: [email protected]. I have a very good following on the Jeep Wrangler Forum. Thanks

You need to get your story straight....You specifically said in the thread "He knew what he wanted and we had it. It was our last stock RHO truck in stock.". That doesn't sound like a custom order for that customer. That sounds like he bought a truck you had in stock.

Hey just want to thank RamFan91. I sold his truck to him on Saturday, it was great working with him. He knew what he wanted, and we had it. It was our last stock RHO truck in stock. Rada, it was silver with the Level 1 option.

The truck I was referring to was on your website for weeks (same VIN) after my conversation with your dealership, and it was removed from your website right before your post. It was the same color, trim, and price, so with those factors I assumed we were talking about the same truck.

You also said you sold him the truck on Saturday, but the original poster stated he had the truck for a couple of months. Your comments aren't adding up.

That said, my experience with Jim Butler CDJR was less than positive, and the inconsistencies in this thread reflect what I encountered firsthand. In contrast, my interactions with other dealerships—such as Mark Dodge and Jim Glover—have been very positive, and have since ordered from Jim Glover. I’m not difficult to please, but I do expect honesty and transparency.

You work at a dealership and you leave behind, on a forum of possible future buyers that might be interested in purchasing at your supposed dealership, a Gmail address instead of your professional dealership address?

YIKES!

So because trucks were moving quickly, you raised the price 7k on this guy thinking you could get more money?

This is what most dealers do. Seems like they didn’t get enough markup during Covid.
