Metallic small rattle upon cold start?

Upon initial cold start there is a metallic rattle. You can hear it upon every cold start. Not very loud. I've also heard a couple time when at a stop and rev engine. One other time I heard it is when going through a restaurant drive-through and giving it a little gas to drive around you can hear the rattle echo off the building. When the engine warms up, I don't seem to hear it again until the next cold start.

Took it to the dealership they didn't even really try to diagnose where it was coming from. They just immediately opened up a star case.

Has anyone else had a similar noise? Wondering if I should just try and bring into another dealership and see if they would actually try and diagnose where the noise is coming from

I noticed that the exhaust pipes have a spring valve on them which gives them the somewhat "aggressive" sound when you step on the pedal. They seem to rattle a little especially when cold before the pipes heat up. Maybe that's what you're hearing.

It’s your exhaust. The mechanical valve rattles.

I’m noticing a rattle also especially on cold start. Has anyone found a fix?

It's either your exhaust valves or your waste gate actuator arms. Most likely both. I put springs on my waste gates like in the other forums and clamped my exhaust valves open. All rattles are gone!
